“I’m really disappointed with this experience. We invested over $10,000 in a new door set, and from the start it was a huge headache. They initially refused to replace the incorrect trim, and it took weeks of persistent follow-up to finally get it done. Even then, the work done by Donnie Flynn’s team wasn’t up to par – the staining and sealing was flawed, the handles were uneven, and the weather stripping was missing. Now, just a few months later, we’ve found a crack in the door, and we’ve been unable to get any response or help from them at all. They contacted us after seeing our review and promised to fix it in August, but we haven't heard back.”

“I was really disappointed with the service I received. Layton and the other technician working on my steel door were unhelpful and seemed to just pass me around without actually resolving the issue.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Southern Sash. I chose them to install new windows in my home, trusting their expertise, and unfortunately, it was a major mistake. I’m not very knowledgeable about window installation, and I should have had someone independently verify the work, which was my oversight. It took nearly a year after installation for me to notice a significant issue – a draft and eventually a ladybug infestation. A handyman I hired confirmed my suspicions: the windows weren’t properly sealed, with noticeable gaps that even allowed a lizard to enter my home. The company simply dismissed my concerns, blaming it on my house’s frame and foundation, and essentially left me to deal with the problem. Honestly, it feels like they intentionally avoided responsibility. Given that I bought new windows expecting a tight, weather-sealed fit, I find their actions deceptive and deeply frustrating.”

“I’ve been trying to schedule a consultation to get a quote for new windows, and frankly, it’s been incredibly frustrating. I’ve spoken with Will multiple times, who then directed me to Ashley Curry, but she hasn't returned any of my calls, including voicemails. I’ve also contacted the main office and chatted with Will again, but I’m just getting the runaround – promises to get back to me that never materialize. It seems like they’re not really prioritizing their customers.”

“I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience purchasing a sliding door from Sierra Pacific. We invested over $5,200 in this door – the exact model displayed in your showroom – and from the very beginning, we’ve had serious issues with the installation. Throughout construction, I repeatedly brought this to the attention of both the contractor and Mike/Jack at Southern Sash, but we’ve received no assistance in correcting the significant gap between the doors. Now, 90 days after moving in, the door is completely unusable – it’s stuck and locked, and the gap is letting in bugs and bees. To add to the problem, we also purchased over $25,000 worth of windows and had to replace all the window tape due to it peeling off. I’ve even contacted the General Manager at Sierra Pacific, but I’ve received no resolution. Frankly, I strongly advise against buying from this supplier.”

“Southern/Supply Montana really delivers – they offer fantastic windows and their customer service is top-notch. Seriously, they’re known for providing some of the best windows you can find.”

“I was incredibly disappointed with my experience with Southern Sash. It took an unreasonable six weeks to get a door ordered, and frankly, the customer service was unacceptable. One employee, Jack, specifically, needs significant training in how to handle customer interactions – his approach was completely inappropriate. Honestly, if this were my business, I’d have had to let him go. Overall, my experience with Southern Sash fell far short of my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend doing business with them.”

“I had a really frustrating experience with Southern Sash. I placed an order for windows back in November 2020, and it took nearly a year for the last window to finally be installed in June 2021. From the start, there were issues – my original order never materialized, and the young man I spoke with, Will, was unhelpful and didn't return my calls. They then told me my order was being upgraded, but the new windows arrived without screens, and the installation process was plagued with delays. The installer even quit, and I had to schedule multiple appointments just to get the windows properly measured and installed – and even then, one of their employees measured incorrectly! Honestly, the whole process was incredibly disorganized and unreliable. Because of all these problems, I wouldn’t recommend Southern Sash to anyone.”

I was really disappointed with my recent experience buying a used tilt pack. I purchased it from Mike and Jack, and they hadn’t disclosed that it had been previously installed and painted. Before I took the other windows out, I called to ask about the condition, and Jack assured me they had one remaining. I decided to hold off and take it as is. When I picked it up, no one mentioned its history. However, upon closer inspection, the tabs holding the pack in the track were broken. I contacted Jack, but he didn't return my call. Eventually, I spoke to Mike, who seemed confused and dismissive. It turned out the pack had been returned by a previous client who had paid for a painted and installed window, and I was only given a $100 refund after paying the full $600. It feels like I was misled and that someone – specifically Mike – needs to take responsibility for this situation.

“This place has a really impressive selection of doors – they can handle anything from standard sizes to completely custom orders. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience really positive.”
