“The Mound fire department is fantastic – it’s a really beautiful, modern facility, and the location is incredibly convenient, especially with all the smaller roads leading into town. Everyone I know there is so friendly and clearly invested in the Mound community; I actually grew up with several of them in the local school district. They’ve always been a huge part of our community events, like celebrating the cross country team’s wins and participating in the annual parades. Plus, I’ve always enjoyed the summer fish fries they host – it’s a wonderful way for everyone to come together.”
