  Overall, this was a really frustrating experience. While the installation crew themselves were fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and polite – the rest of the process was a complete mess. I initially got a good estimate, but then was suddenly told the actual cost was double what I was quoted, forcing me to significantly change my plans. Getting any information was difficult; I was given an install date that turned out to be weeks away, and when I called to inquire about permits, I was met with a rude response claiming they'd already handled everything. Honestly, knowing the actual install date would have prevented a lot of the issues. To add to the problems, they hadn't even checked on the utility pole issue in my yard, and the installer didn’t seem to know anything about it. The final mistake was using a defective fence panel and then patching it up haphazardly with a temporary fix – it felt really unprofessional. Because of all these issues, I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this company. report abuse

  I was really pleased with Muskegon Fence Company! They installed a beautiful 6-foot wooden fence for me, and I’d definitely recommend them. Jeff was great – he came out to discuss my needs and gave me a fair quote. Jake and Josh did a fantastic job with the installation, and it was really nice getting to know them. They absolutely delivered the best value – the quality is just outstanding, and everything else I’ve seen in the industry simply doesn't compare. They were incredibly competitive with their pricing, and seeing the care and precision they put into the fencing was truly impressive. Plus, the owners and their team are fantastic; they really treat you like a valued member of their business.
