  I was incredibly disappointed with my experience dealing with the True Value store in Concord. Unfortunately, our wedding was cancelled due to COVID, and when the venue cancelled our event just 45 days beforehand, we had to quickly rearrange things. I contacted True Value to cancel our tent rental, but the manager I spoke with was shockingly unhelpful and rude. She dismissed our concerns, simply saying “I’m sorry you feel that way, but it isn’t our problem.” Offering a store credit for a future event was completely useless, considering it wasn’t near our home. Her dismissive attitude and refusal to offer any kind of refund was completely unacceptable, and I felt like she lacked any empathy or understanding for our situation. report abuse

  I really think you should be aware of how they calculate rental fees. They told me they wouldn’t charge for Sunday, but they ended up billing me for both Saturday and Sunday – even though they were closing up shop. It felt a bit misleading and dishonest. report abuse
