Overall, my experience with John, Dan, and Richelle at Whaling City Solar was fantastic. From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful in explaining the solar process and figuring out the best options for my home, and they never pushed me into anything. I really appreciated how transparent they were with their information – they provided the clearest details compared to other companies I spoke with. The installation process itself went smoothly, and they got my system up and running within about two and a half months after we finalized the contract. I’d definitely recommend Whaling City Solar for anyone looking to install solar panels at their home.

“Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating and disorganized experience. From the start, there was a lack of communication and a significant delay – my project took nearly six months to begin, despite a 12-week timeframe being initially agreed upon. I wasn't informed about the company’s shift to their parent company until the electrician arrived, and I was repeatedly given false start dates without any updates. Throughout the process, there were numerous issues, including multiple wiring mistakes that were only discovered after I had to point them out, a failure to properly test the system’s functionality, and the need for me to program the meter myself. At one point, they even resorted to threatening legal action against me and provided inaccurate information to my bank. While things seem to be improving recently, it’s difficult to assess the long-term impact of these early problems.”

“I was completely new to residential solar, but Dan at WCS was absolutely fantastic. He really took the time to guide me through everything, and I’d definitely recommend WCS to anyone considering a solar project.”

“I reached out several times over the course of a week following the quote, but unfortunately didn’t get a single response from Adam. Because of the lack of communication, I had to go with a different provider, even though they were slightly more expensive. I’m really concerned about their reliability – it seemed like they weren’t interested in hearing from me.”
-
“Overall, I had a really positive experience with this company. They took the time to explain how solar could help lower my energy costs, and they were incredibly professional and didn’t pressure me at all. Getting the estimate was also surprisingly quick and easy.”
-
Adam’s a fantastic guy to work with – he’s clearly passionate about solar power, and his “See Thru Solar” approach is really innovative and easy to understand.
-
“Randy, thanks for your work on this.”
