  Auburndale Builders truly exceeded our expectations – we’ve been absolutely thrilled with the two major remodeling projects we’ve undertaken with them. They completely transformed our basement and then tackled the incredibly complex task of renovating multiple rooms in our 150-year-old home, and the results are fantastic. What really stood out was their professionalism and organization. Our designer said they were one of the best contractors she’d ever worked with, and we completely agree. From the very beginning, they were incredibly clear about what they would deliver, and they kept us informed every step of the way. They were also very mindful of our budget, offering transparent options and working hard to stay within our estimates. Beyond just being skilled builders, they’re true experts in modern, eco-friendly building techniques, and they gave us some brilliant advice on how to modernize our house while still honoring its historic charm. The whole team – the project managers and the carpenters – are incredibly experienced and dedicated to quality. They're also meticulous about details, and you can see the difference in the finished product. They carefully selected reliable subcontractors and worked closely with them to ensure everything met our high standards. But honestly, what’s made the biggest difference is the people. From the owners to the office staff, they’ve been genuinely kind, supportive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the entire process.   Auburndale Builders did an absolutely fantastic job adding an extension to our home. They expanded our first floor with a bedroom and bathroom, and added a room upstairs – the whole thing turned out beautifully. We were so impressed with their professionalism and really appreciated how considerate they were of our living space during the construction process.   “I couldn’t be happier with the incredible renovation Auburndale Builders did for me. They completely transformed my master bedroom, adding a beautiful window seat overlooking my garden – it’s honestly become my favorite place in the house. I’ve enjoyed it every morning for the past five years, especially watching the snow fall from that seat. Let’s be honest, major construction projects are stressful! It’s a long process with lots of decisions and worries. But working with Nick and the team at Auburndale made it so much easier.   Honestly, we had a really frustrating experience with Auburndale Builders. It felt like they consistently rushed projects and didn't pay attention to detail. The flooring wasn't installed properly, the countertop was badly warped, and the custom woodwork was simply not up to par. They promised numerous fixes, but ultimately cancelled our contract without completing any of the work. They present themselves as a high-performance builder, but several issues, including a front door that won’t open correctly, highlighted a serious lack of quality. I would strongly recommend exploring other builders – we unfortunately didn’t have a positive outcome with Auburndale. report abuse
