  Forge was a lot of work – we spent months planning our basement remodel with their help, even coordinating subcontractors for the electrical and plumbing. Unfortunately, they pulled out of the project at the very last minute, completely throwing us back months and costing us a significant amount of time and money. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend relying on them for your remodeling needs. report abuse

  Forge was fantastic to work with on a few projects around our historic loft – from replacing ceiling fans and a hot water tap to some ceiling repairs and painting. But honestly, the biggest thing was the custom cabinets they built around the structural beam. It was a really tricky situation, and they came up with an amazing solution that gave us actually usable storage space. What really stood out was how professional and easy they were to deal with. They were consistently reliable, always responsive, and kept us updated every step of the way – unlike some other contractors we spoke with who were often late or didn’t communicate properly.   “We were so pleased with Intrepid Homes – they did a fantastic job! They tackled everything we needed: replacing old, rotten shingles, reinforcing our back porch, and installing a new fence. From the start, they were really responsive, gave us a competitive quote, and got the work scheduled quickly. We did have a slight delay with the fence due to the weather, but the team kept us informed the whole time, which we really appreciated. Alex was particularly helpful, taking the time to answer all our questions and walk us through the different options in detail.   “I was so relieved to find Intrepid – I needed a deck railing installed and honestly, I couldn’t manage it myself after an injury. Celeste was fantastic from the start, super responsive and really helpful in getting things set up. Dylan did the actual work, and he was just outstanding. He called me in the morning to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived right on time. He was incredibly professional, really easy to get along with, and did a fantastic job. We finished the whole thing much quicker than I expected! He even gave me a little insight into all the different types of jobs Intrepid handles – it’s amazing the range of services they offer. Honestly, it's a huge stress reliever to have reliable help around the house, and I wholeheartedly recommend Intrepid.
