“I want to be clear – not all contractors are dishonest, as some sources suggest. While the Arkansas Contractor Licensing Board staff at the front were helpful and friendly, I found the hearing process to be biased and, in my opinion, unfairly leaning one way.”
-
“Overall, the office was fantastic and incredibly helpful during the process of applying for my contractor license. They were really informative and kept me in the loop the whole time, making sure I had everything I needed to get through the application.”
-
“The board seems primarily focused on shielding contractors, which has created a really frustrating situation for buyers. Applications are routinely left unanswered for years, and at that point, the board essentially blocks homeowners from addressing any issues that arise. It’s unacceptable that they don’t respond and delay the process so significantly.”
-
“I was really pleasantly surprised! I’ve called a few times and every time the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful – they really went above and beyond to assist me with my license. I highly recommend them.”
-
“I’m incredibly frustrated with the contractor licensing process in Arkansas. It’s taken me three years to get any resolution, and they essentially told me to pursue civil court. Frankly, it feels like these licensed contractors are just as unreliable and untrustworthy as the unlicensed ones – a truly disappointing experience.”
-
I’m incredibly disappointed with the lack of response I’ve received regarding my complaint filed on January 21st. Despite numerous conversations with Jimmy Thomas, Greg Crow, and Michael Langley, and after many promises to investigate, I’ve still not received any formal or informal acknowledgment of my case. As a result, I’ve suffered significant financial losses – thousands of dollars – and I’m deeply concerned about the lack of action.
-
“We had a really smooth and efficient experience – the ladies we spoke with were fantastic, and we were in and out very quickly.”
-
Kristen was a really wonderful person to work with – she was consistently kind and always willing to help out. Despite having different viewpoints on a few key issues, she handled everything with grace.
-
“There were some significant delays and a lack of follow-through on key tasks.”
-
The team was really easy to work with – everyone was friendly and approachable.
