  “I was really pleased with the work State Stone did extending my sidewalk. I originally had the original sidewalk installed, but sadly the stone was discontinued by Cambridge Pavers. After getting some disappointing quotes and hearing about contractors planning subpar work, I decided to go with State Stone – Claudio was fantastic. He really went the extra mile to find stones that matched the original, and his years of experience meant he had strong connections to get the right materials. Claudio spent a lot of time meeting with me beforehand, carefully explaining his approach and providing a detailed 5-page contract with a clear timeline. Honestly, trusting anyone with work around my house is always a big deal, but Claudio and his team completely exceeded my expectations.   We’ve been incredibly pleased with State Stone’s work over the past seven years, and we’d wholeheartedly recommend them. We recently hired them again this April to install a beautiful bluestone patio and expand and resurface our driveway, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. They’ve previously done amazing work for us, including installing reclaimed Rockport Granite landings for our French doors, creating a stunning garden entryway with granite finials and slabs, and even covering a concrete foundation with Vermont Stone Veneer. They even installed a fantastic heated Pennsylvania Blue Thermal Walkway with a large landing for our front door. What really stood out was Claudio’s professionalism – he was able to seamlessly accommodate a change order while still delivering the project on time, which is a huge plus considering how challenging the weather can be during springtime projects in New England.
