  David and his team were absolutely fantastic – I couldn’t have asked for a better contractor. Seriously, I’d recommend him without hesitation. Everyone working for him is incredibly knowledgeable, and you could ask anyone a question and they’d have a really solid answer. Building a new floor, especially with a big reconstruction like the one we had on our first floor (kitchen and living room), is always challenging with unexpected issues, but David was consistently there, answering every call and guiding us through every step. The finished result is stunning – we’re thrilled with how amazing it looks. report abuse

  “We hired Franca Services in June 2022 with the goal of having a fixed portico built above our patio doors. After a quick meeting with Steve, we signed a contract and paid a deposit, but things quickly went downhill. For the next couple of months, we were met with a frustrating series of emails and unanswered questions about when the project would actually begin. It became clear we’d made a mistake by not including a start date in the contract, but the delays continued. Then, in September, a ‘project manager,’ Wagner, finally visited our home, but instead of building the portico we’d originally discussed, he seemed intent on installing a rolling awning – a design completely different from our initial request. The team left that day having done nothing because they weren't given the right instructions, and Franca Services then cut off all communication. We spent another month chasing our deposit back, eventually sending a formal demand letter in November. After a lengthy period of no response, we had to file a small claim, which ultimately led to a court date. It wasn’t until legal action was taken that we finally received our refund. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and marked by terrible communication and a distinct lack of professionalism. We strongly advise against using Franca Services – there are plenty of other companies out there.” report abuse

  “I absolutely love the work Franca Services did on my house! They replaced the shake on two-thirds of it with clapboard, and then painted the entire house – and the results are fantastic. The team was really great, and they finished the job quickly. My house looks absolutely amazing now, and all the peeling paint is gone.” report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with our new deck – we’ve had it for a few months now and it still looks fantastic. The building crew were a great bunch, friendly and kept to themselves, which we really appreciated. The experience was positive overall. The only slightly tricky part was the project management; they changed project managers a couple of times during the build, which unfortunately led to a few errors in the schematics. It took some effort to get this sorted out, and we needed to speak with the owner directly, although he wasn’t always easy to reach. Despite that, they did a good job and we’d recommend them. report abuse

  I can’t recommend this company. They were incredibly difficult to communicate with after I paid, and unfortunately, they didn't complete the job. Seriously, avoid them – you’ll just end up frustrated. report abuse
