“I cannot recommend this company. I consistently found them to be unreliable and seemed to always deflect responsibility when issues arose. No matter how clearly I communicated my needs or how high-quality my work was, they’d invariably blame me for mistakes. Frankly, they were incredibly frustrating to work with, and I wouldn’t use their services again.”

Steel Art’s signs looked good initially, but there were some serious issues with the way they were packaged and labeled. We ordered twelve different signs, and they arrived in a confusing system of scrolls with "Biology" printed on each one – but only one of the scrolls actually contained the "Biology" sign. They hadn’t separated the templates or labeled them correctly, which meant we had to spend extra time figuring out which sign went where. Honestly, it was incredibly frustrating because I’ve been doing sign installations for over a decade and I’ve never encountered such a poorly organized system. It’s clear Steel Art didn’t bother to properly cut and label the templates, leaving the installers with a huge headache. I’m currently speaking with them to see if they’ll address this and make sure they properly separate and name the templates going forward.

Bill Gallagher had a fantastic experience with Steel Art Company! He was particularly impressed with the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff – it really stood out to him. He needed a rush order before the holidays and was amazed they delivered it three days early, well ahead of his deadline. Beyond that, the quality of the work was exceptional, and they even added a clear coat finish. He felt incredibly well-treated, noting the careful packaging and the team’s genuine appreciation for his business. He specifically praised John Borell and his team for their professionalism.

Overall, we’ve been really pleased with their work – they’re a reliable partner for our business. However, we’ve occasionally found their communication a little challenging. Sometimes they’d react negatively when we asked for clarification or received feedback, making it seem like it was impossible to seek further understanding. It felt a bit frustrating, and we could have done more to ensure they felt comfortable asking questions.

Maisie’s handling of this situation was frankly unacceptable – a complete mess. We urgently need to ensure we’re employing more skilled and capable individuals.

Maisie wasn’t a good fit for this – we unfortunately didn’t end up doing business after working with her.
