  Jerry and his team – Norm, Valerie, and Jim – were absolutely fantastic to work with during the build of our new home in OGT. From the initial design through selecting the finishes, they were incredibly professional and consistently delivered on both their timeline and budget, which we really appreciated.   Coastal General Construction has been absolutely fantastic for us. We’ve used them twice now for different projects around the house, and every time, we’ve been incredibly impressed. They consistently deliver top-quality work, and they always stick to the agreed-upon schedule and budget – which is a huge relief. What really sets them apart is their responsiveness and communication. Jerry and Norm were fantastic throughout our major renovation – which involved a complete overhaul including lifting the house, building a new basement, and a full gut and remodel of the first floor. There were definitely some unexpected challenges along the way, but they tackled them quickly and efficiently, keeping us fully informed every step of the way. They were also incredibly helpful with choosing our finishes, offering great advice when we weren’t sure what to pick.   I honestly couldn’t be happier with the work Coastal General Construction did on my condo. I’d been waiting to see the finished renovations after a five-day visit, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Living in a historic building – the top two floors of a place built back in the 1800s – meant renovations were always going to be tricky, but Coastal General handled everything with incredible professionalism. I’d previously done some work upstairs five years ago, and this time, with Coastal General leading the charge, it was a completely different experience. They tackled a full gut renovation of my kitchen, moving walls, updating the plumbing and electrical, and completely redesigning the space. From the very beginning, Jerry DeHart and Norm Clough listened intently to my vision, and they stayed in constant communication. What really impressed me was that they finished the project – including the bedrooms downstairs – over a month ahead of schedule, without ever making me worry about potential issues with the old building. The whole team was just fantastic – incredibly polite, hardworking, and clearly proud of their work. Even our building manager has commented on how professional and enjoyable the process was.
