  “I’m incredibly frustrated with this entire experience. As a new homeowner, I was relying on the solar system that came with the house, which is why I reached out to the company a month ago to transfer ownership. I’ve been trying to get through to them repeatedly – through texts and calls – and it’s been shockingly difficult; my messages were often left unanswered. Finally, I received a response yesterday, only to be given a simple link that took just 30 seconds to complete. Worse, I wasn’t informed about the $199 transfer fee until yesterday! Because of this delay, I’m now facing a huge electric bill this month that I wouldn’t have had if they’d provided me with the link sooner. I’m waiting for them to correct my bill, and I’ll be updating my review once that’s resolved.” report abuse

  “We’re incredibly disappointed with our experience with Emerald City. From the start, Anthony, the owner, made us feel uneasy with his constant assurances that he wasn’t trying to sell us anything, and frankly, it felt disingenuous. Following the solar panel installation, we’ve been plagued with ongoing problems – the system consistently underperforms and doesn’t generate the energy we were promised. Anthony has repeatedly offered excuses instead of solutions. We’ve faced issues like a leaking air conditioning unit, a contractor being unavailable, and now a ceiling leak originating from the upstairs unit. Our electricity bills have skyrocketed, far exceeding the $30-$40 Anthony initially estimated, and coupled with our solar payment of $280, we’re facing a significant financial burden. Adding to our frustration, Anthony’s behavior was unprofessional – he was drinking tequila with us and even consumed one of my marijuana edibles. It felt like he wasn’t practicing what he preached, and his explanations felt completely fabricated. We strongly advise against using this company.” report abuse

  “I was really struggling with my electricity bills, especially with my hot tub and older A/C system. I have solar at another house, so I was looking for a reliable solar company. I’d been hearing a lot about Tesla, but the whole process with them was so confusing, so I went with Emerald Sun Energy and Anthony. February’s bill was just $160, and it’s still early in the year!   “I’m incredibly disappointed with the service we received from Emerald Sun. We had solar panels installed three months ago, and unfortunately, they haven't been working. As a result, our electricity bills have skyrocketed to over $400 a month, and we’re still responsible for paying for a system that isn’t functioning. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, we’ve been passed off to various contractors who haven’t been able to resolve the problem, and our concerns seem to be completely ignored.
