  Overall, this plumbing service was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, they were incredibly responsive – I was able to get someone out quickly and they actually showed up on time, which is a huge relief. The plumber was also very friendly and communicated clearly about the work being done. The quality of the faucet replacement in my bathroom was good. However, I was definitely surprised by the price, which was 35% higher than other quotes I received for similar jobs. They didn’t provide an upfront estimate or hourly rate, and they added extra parts without asking or informing me, resulting in an increased cost. The payment process was also a hassle – I’d much prefer to pay when the work is completed rather than waiting for an invoice for an unknown amount. Despite the higher price and payment issues, I appreciate their responsiveness and the fact that they didn’t require weeks-long scheduling like some other companies. For those who value convenience and reliability above all else, this might be worth the extra cost. report abuse

  Vinnie from One Stop has been our heating service provider for years, and we couldn’t ask for a better technician. He’s fantastic with our tenants and truly excels when it comes to boilers and burners. What really sets him apart is his ability to quickly diagnose and fix those tricky little issues that often lead to repeat calls – he doesn't just jump to replacing parts. Vinnie takes the time to really understand the problem and has a great knack for figuring out what’s going on.   Honestly, my experience with One Stop was incredibly frustrating. They seemed to be just a middleman, and it took at least five calls to finally get a plumber scheduled. Instead of a straightforward explanation about being busy, the receptionist just kept passing the buck – saying “the plumber will call you back” repeatedly. After a month, a different company from Bangor actually did the work, and when I asked about the cost, they quoted me $450. Yet, One Stop billed me $1000! To top it off, the quality of the work was poor and only warranted a 30-day guarantee. report abuse
