  Working with Mullen Building over the past two years – from 2022 onwards – was an incredibly positive experience. We hired them specifically for their reputation for getting projects done efficiently, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. They kept us completely in the loop with regular emails and photos, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What really impressed us was their strong relationships with their contractors and the Town – it meant a seamless transition between each stage of the project and minimized any delays. Our on-site manager was incredibly meticulous, ensuring that the workmanship was always top-notch; we never had to accept anything less than excellent quality. While the project was an investment, we felt like we were getting exceptional value for our money.   “Mullen Building and Remodeling did an absolutely fantastic job rebuilding our home after the fire. Doug was truly exceptional – he tackled a really complex rebuild, seamlessly integrating steel into the existing structure without needing to bring in outside contractors except for the structural engineer. The finished house is beautiful, with a lot of attention to detail, and, crucially, they completed the project on time and within budget.   “We absolutely loved our kitchen and bathroom remodel done by Mullen Construction in 2019. From the very beginning, Doug and his team were incredibly professional and easy to work with. Doug had a fantastic relationship with our architect, and together they brought our vision – a complete overhaul – to life. The kitchen remodel was a significant undertaking, involving extensive plumbing changes and a lot of careful work. They completely transformed our first-floor space, sanding and refinishing the floors to look amazing, and even replaced our old window with a beautiful transom window. Our master bathroom turned out beautifully too, with the cabinetry, fixtures, and tiles all blending seamlessly. We especially appreciated how thoughtfully they laid the large Portuguese tiles, making sure they matched the floor perfectly. What really set Mullen Construction apart was Doug’s communication. He always kept us informed about any design decisions and handled changes with accuracy and transparency, providing clear cost estimates. Billing was prompt and without any unexpected surprises. And as the project neared completion, his crew efficiently tackled the final details. Honestly, the Mullen crew is made up of true craftsmen. They took such pride in their work, and they were always incredibly respectful, leaving our space clean and protected throughout the process.   “I had a fantastic experience working with Mullen Building. From the start, our project manager, Katie, was outstanding. She was incredibly responsive and proactive, always keeping us informed and ensuring everything was done to a really high standard – I was particularly impressed with her willingness to personally install the insulation. Katie and the whole team – Doug and the others – really went the extra mile to get our almost complete interior remodel finished on time and within budget, especially considering how difficult it was to find reliable contractors and materials at the time.
