  I couldn’t be happier with the Powerwall 3 installation EnergyPlusSolar did at my Palmdale home – Eric Wedell is the owner. I went with them because I wanted a reliable backup power source in case of Southern California Edison outages, and they’ve completely delivered. I’m now able to keep my lights on, run essential appliances, and even have air conditioning during the summer, all thanks to the Powerwall. The whole process was fantastic. Eric handled everything – the equipment, permits, and the installation itself – and his team was incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were on time, worked efficiently, and did a truly top-notch job.   “We’re really happy with our new solar panels, thanks to Sunpower and especially Eric and his team. The quality of the panels themselves is excellent, though the battery performance was a bit underwhelming. The installation was incredibly professional – they got everything up and running really quickly. Honestly, the biggest challenge was navigating the city and county permit process, which was surprisingly detailed and took longer than expected. But Eric was a lifesaver; being so close to his shop meant he could always come over and quickly resolve any issues that popped up.   “I couldn’t be happier with our new solar panels from Energy Plus! My electric bill has been slashed – averaging around 80%, and sometimes even more, especially during the summer. We’re already seeing a fantastic return on our investment, and we estimate they’ll pay for themselves in about 6-7 years. Eric, our installer, was fantastic – incredibly honest and didn’t try to upsell us. He recommended SunPower panels, which are top-notch, and with the current 30% federal tax credit, it’s a really smart investment, especially if you plan on staying in your home for a long time.   “Overall, we’re really happy with our decision to go with Energy Plus Solar and SunPower. From start to finish, the process was fantastic – the sales team were great, the installation was seamless, and the system is performing exactly as we hoped. We had it installed and activated in early December 2018, and so far, we’re on track to meet our energy goals for the year. We got quotes from a few different companies, and while Energy Plus was a bit pricier upfront, we felt confident in their SunPower panels and believe we’ll see a full return on our investment in about seven years. Everyone we spoke with was professional and didn’t push us at all – it really felt like they wanted to help us make an informed decision.   “I’m incredibly frustrated with my new solar panel system. I live in California where solar is required for new homes, and I chose Sunpower through my builder – they’re the only option available. My panels are only two years old, and they’ve completely stopped working. I’ve been stuck paying my full electricity bill for the past two weeks while waiting for someone to investigate. To make matters worse, I was just told I might be charged for the repairs, which is unacceptable considering the panels are still under warranty. It’s completely unreasonable for me to be out of pocket for anything wrong with them, especially since they’re brand new and should be covered for at least ten years. Now I’m waiting another week for a follow-up call – it's appalling that I have to contact them to report a problem when they should have their own monitoring system. I feel like I’m being passed off and I’m really disappointed with how this has been handled. I’d definitely recommend exploring a different solar company.” report abuse

  “We really loved our SunPower system at our last home, so when we moved, we knew we wanted to go with SunPower again. Energy Plus Solar did an amazing job installing our new system – they had it up in just a week! It’s so sleek and modern, with a really clean connection that’s barely noticeable. We especially appreciate that they didn’t install any bulky equipment on the side of our house like we’ve seen with other systems. The SunPower Monitor on my phone gives us a great overview of our energy production and usage, and it’s fantastic to see how much we’re contributing back to the power company.   “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Energy Plus Solar. Once the system was installed, we completely lost contact with them – it was impossible to reach anyone for support. My entire system, which cost over $30,000, is now malfunctioning. I even heard the owner, Eric, making concerning comments to his staff about disregarding my new equipment. Honestly, I strongly advise against using Energy Plus Solar; the lack of customer service and apparent disregard for their clients is unacceptable.   “I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Energy Plus Solar! I went with SunPower solar panels, a battery storage system, and even an EV charger – it’s amazing to power my electric car with sunshine. Now, I’m using zero electricity from the utility company and my bills have actually been negative! It’s fantastic knowing my home is running on the most efficient SunPower panels, and the battery system lets me use that stored energy at night. Eric and his team did a fantastic job – they really took the time to understand my needs and recommended the perfect setup. I did a lot of research before choosing them, and it was clear that SunPower was the best choice, especially with their 25-year warranty that covers the entire system with no out-of-pocket costs.
