  I was really pleased with the remodel Sherman Homes – and especially Brady – did on my duplex in Sugar House. Because it’s a rental property, I had a pretty strict budget and timeline, and Brady and his team really delivered. They were fantastic to work with, communicating clearly and keeping everything perfectly coordinated. I’d absolutely use them again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable contractor. report abuse

  Hayden was absolutely fantastic – honestly, five stars doesn't even seem like enough! My wife and I recently renovated a condo in Old Town Park City, a 1982 build that had been rented for years, and it was a real labor of love. We completely gutted the space, opened up the floor plan, and added all sorts of modern touches like a washer/dryer, more storage, and even a luxurious jet tub for relaxing after skiing. What really stood out was Hayden himself. He was so easy to work with, he really listened to our design ideas, and he was incredibly fair with his pricing. The best part was, throughout the whole demo and construction process, he tackled every little challenge without adding any extra requests or increasing the cost – it was a huge relief! The workmanship was top-notch, and he was always on it, taking care of things before we even had to ask. Because we’re from the East Coast and this was such a big project so far from home, we were a little nervous. Hayden really took care of everything, managing all the potential risks and delivering exactly what we wanted, within our original budget. We’re so thrilled with our new condo – it’s as nice, if not nicer, than any of the newer developments in Park City/Deer Valley. We’re so grateful to our friend for recommending him, and we’ll definitely be using him for any future projects we have in the area. He’s truly a contractor we can trust!” report abuse

  We’re so incredibly disappointed with our experience working with Sherman Homes, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend them. From start to finish, our $300,000+ remodel was plagued with problems, and we felt completely disregarded throughout the process. Brady Sherman and his team took a frustratingly hands-off approach, leading to inaccurate estimates, unqualified workers, and a significant delay – our project took eight months instead of the planned four. We faced repeated billing errors, broken promises, and a general lack of responsiveness, especially as our project progressed. It became clear that Brady wasn’t genuinely committed to fixing issues; his reassurances felt like empty words. We were left constantly reviewing and correcting their work, and holding them accountable. Several subcontractors even expressed concern about the disorganization and how poorly we were being treated, and they ultimately stopped working with Sherman Homes. We ultimately had to involve a lawyer to secure payment after Brady refused to provide necessary documentation. Given these issues, we strongly advise anyone considering Sherman Homes to consult with a lawyer, do extensive research, and be prepared to actively oversee the project and utilize your attorney. We truly wish we could have had a positive experience, but due to the numerous failures and disrespectful treatment, we cannot recommend them. report abuse

  “Brady and his team did an absolutely fantastic job renovating our home in Park City – it was a truly massive undertaking, doubling the space to 10,000 square feet! Given that we were living in Las Vegas and this was a long-distance project, we really appreciated his attention to detail and how smoothly things ran. He recommended a brilliant architect and design team, and we were consistently impressed with his communication and responsiveness to our questions. The site was always spotless at the end of each day, and the office staff were incredibly helpful with the finances. Honestly, these types of projects are always challenging, especially with the supply chain issues we faced during Covid, but Brady went above and beyond to ensure we stayed within our budget. They’ve clearly got a strong understanding of the potential risks involved in projects like renovations, and they proactively work with clients – both homeowners and contractors – to ensure they’re taking the necessary precautions. It’s fantastic that they emphasize thorough pre-testing for asbestos before any work begins, which we’ve seen can prevent a lot of unexpected problems and costly damage that sometimes happens when people start a project without fully understanding the potential hazards.” report abuse
