“I absolutely loved my experience with Newcastle. I was searching for a new home for quite a while and kept finding myself drawn back to this location – the homes themselves are stunning, and the neighborhood is just beautiful. From the very beginning, I was impressed. When I chose my house, the builder, Nick, was fantastic. He went above and beyond, taking detailed notes during the walkthrough, marking areas for attention with blue tape, and even coordinating with his team to get everything prepared for my move-in. It made the whole process so incredibly smooth. And I can’t say enough about their customer service! Karen has been a lifesaver, responding to my emails and texts almost immediately. She’s so proactive – she contacts the builder directly and gets things resolved quickly. She’s genuinely kind, attentive, and really wants to ensure both the builder and I have a fantastic home. It's clear they value their new homeowners, and I’m so grateful to have Nick and Karen on their team.”

“We absolutely love our new home! From start to finish, the whole team at Newcastle really impressed us – the builder, the designer, and the sales staff all did a fantastic job and we couldn’t be happier.”

Overall, our experience with Newcastle Homes in the Barimore subdivision has been fantastic since we moved in November 2022. We absolutely love our new home! We’ve been so pleased with the whole process. The sales team, particularly Beth, were incredibly helpful and responsive, quickly resolving any minor issues we encountered. Owen, our builder, has been a fantastic resource, always available to answer our questions and offer advice. His crew are consistently professional, courteous, and very reliable. We also appreciated the HOA’s support and reasonable approach to our requests. We’re incredibly happy with our decision to choose Helena, Barimore, and Newcastle Homes and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

“Overall, our experience with New Castle Homes and their HOA has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We’ve repeatedly struggled to get our concerns addressed, primarily due to a lack of communication and responsiveness. It’s incredibly difficult to get through to anyone – specifically Karen in warranty – and our emails and phone calls often go unanswered. We’ve also encountered unprofessional behavior from some of the representatives, like Chris Williamson, who was observed engaging in inappropriate conduct and seemed more focused on personal activities than on resolving our issues. More recently, Owen Holt showed initial promise but quickly became dismissive and unresponsive, interrupting our attempts to discuss our problems. It feels like our concerns are simply being ignored. We’re deeply concerned about the lack of accountability and the overall negative experience we’ve had. ”

I’m incredibly disappointed with this builder. From the moment we moved in, we’ve faced a constant stream of problems, and frankly, our house is in far worse condition than it should be, especially considering the high price we paid. Despite numerous issues stemming from the construction itself, the company has been completely unresponsive and unwilling to address them, even after our warranty expired. Their initial promises of thorough quality control were just empty words – they’d act as if they were dedicated to resolving problems until the sale was complete, but then they quickly dismissed our concerns, blaming us for everything or simply stating that’s “how they build these houses.” It’s clear they’re avoiding responsibility. I strongly advise against buying a home from this company. And to add to the frustration, their customer service is nonexistent; they don't return emails or calls. It’s clear they’re trying to avoid accountability.

“Rodney and Melissa absolutely love their new home built by Newcastle Homes – they moved in just this Friday! They wanted to share how fantastic Brighton and Jason were throughout the entire process. They were incredibly professional and really went above and beyond to ensure they were happy with everything, taking the time to make sure all their concerns were addressed. They wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Newcastle Homes to others.”

Honestly, my experience with Newcastle was incredibly disappointing. From the very beginning, the agents seemed overly focused on sales, and they were incredibly dismissive of my concerns. They repeatedly told me I didn’t need an agent, which felt rude and unnecessary. Once we moved in, everything we’d read about problems with the development turned out to be true. They weren’t willing to actually help us, despite promising to be responsive. It felt like they only cared about the initial sale. I wish I’d gotten everything in writing, and I spent a lot of time carefully observing the building process. I had to constantly ask questions and seek advice, and it felt like my calls and emails were routinely ignored. It wasn’t just a problem with the agents; the behavior seemed to come from the top – I even overheard the president’s office making fun of my issues. It was a really frustrating experience, and I’d strongly advise anyone considering a Newcastle home to be extremely vigilant and document everything.

“We recently moved here from out of state for my new job, and honestly, Newcastle was a lifesaver. They built us the perfect home for our family, and we absolutely love it. The quality of the construction is fantastic, and we’ve been really impressed with the home warranty and the customer service – they’ve been fantastic since we closed. I especially want to thank Taneisha at River Bend; she was an absolute gem and really helped us navigate the whole process, taking a huge amount of stress away. If you’re looking for a home, I’d definitely recommend giving Newcastle a serious look.”

I’m incredibly disappointed with our experience with Newcastle. From the start, we were led to believe that new homes would settle and have minor issues over time – something completely different happened. For 2.5 years, we’ve been battling a constant stream of escalating problems, and frankly, it’s been a nightmare. Initially, communication was slow; it often took multiple emails to get a response. We dealt with everything from a leaky kitchen sink and A/C issues to roof leaks and mold. Then, in the second year, a massive water buildup appeared in our yard, requiring a costly septic tank repair. What really set us off was the complete lack of response from Newcastle. Things continued to deteriorate, culminating in a serious issue with our irrigation system that they’d installed, leading to further septic problems and ultimately, a failed A/C unit due to improper installation. It’s clear that the initial promises were just a facade, and we’ve encountered issues that should have appeared decades down the line. I would absolutely not recommend buying from Newcastle – their service has been severely lacking.

“I absolutely love my new home in Newcastle! From start to finish, the whole experience was fantastic. The team were incredibly helpful and made the building process so smooth and easy. The quality of the home itself is outstanding – it’s beautifully finished, and they’ve paid attention to every little detail. I couldn't recommend Newcastle to anyone looking for a great, affordable home in this area.”
