  “I’m incredibly frustrated with the whole experience regarding the insulation installation in my basement. The installer initially had problems with the R-value and the product they brought wasn’t the right thickness, ultimately not fitting in the space. What’s really concerning is that the salesman didn’t tell me about this issue beforehand. Then, after the installer left, it took him over an hour to even get back to me, and he admitted the job wasn’t finished because the scheduler had sent him to another job without letting me know. I tried to get in touch with the office multiple times – once at 11:40 am and again at 2:42 pm – but left messages and never received a callback. It’s unacceptable that I can’t get a response, and I’m now facing an incomplete job. I’m really disappointed with the lack of communication and responsiveness.” report abuse

  “I really regret not checking out this company’s reputation beforehand. My contractor recommended them, and I went with it, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them at all. They installed shelving in my closet, and the very next day, the shelves punched right through my new wall, creating massive holes. They hadn’t secured the shelves to the studs – just the drywall – and now it’s a complete mess. After a frustrating three weeks, they finally managed to get a contractor out to repair the damage, and it took me two days off work to be available. To add to the problem, they kept telling me it was ‘never happened before’ which turned out to be a lie based on what I’d read online. They also dismissed several other small holes they’d created without offering to fix them, and then sent over aggressive invoices while Tommy just kept promising to return and never did. It’s been a nightmare trying to get them to address the issues, and their lack of communication and responsiveness has been incredibly unprofessional. If you’re looking for a reliable contractor, I strongly suggest you do your research and consider tackling the job yourself – you’ll likely save yourself a lot of stress and a very poor outcome.” report abuse

  “I scheduled an appointment to get measurements and estimates for new glass shower doors, and unfortunately, the experience was quite frustrating. A woman came to my home two weeks ago, but I haven't received any follow-up communication since. It’s been far too long for simply a courtesy call or text – a very unprofessional way to handle things.” report abuse

  I was really disappointed with this company. While the receptionist was friendly, the entire experience was incredibly disorganized. I had to call four times and leave two messages requesting an estimate, and I never heard back from the person who was supposed to come. The saleswoman herself went to my house without any coordination and ended up doing her own estimate without even confirming what I needed. She didn’t call me at all, just left a note through my husband and ultimately lost the opportunity to properly assess my needs and schedule a follow-up. It felt completely unprofessional and they missed a significant sales opportunity. report abuse

  Honestly, I had a really frustrating experience with this company. They were fantastic during the initial sale process and quick to get things moving, but once I started having issues with my new shelving, they completely disappeared. They sent me absolutely no support when I needed it, and I ended up having to fix the problem myself. When they did eventually come out to look at it, they immediately blamed the issue on the ClosetMaid shelving system, even though they had designed it themselves. To make matters worse, they hadn’t properly installed the shelves – they were only secured at nine points, with only five of those being attached to the studs. It was a shockingly poor installation, and the representative, Gale, took no responsibility whatsoever. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend them for shelving needs. report abuse

  “I was incredibly impressed with Gale Insulation. They provided a quote that was significantly lower than the competition – a full 60% better! Tommy was fantastic from the very beginning, incredibly professional and kept me updated throughout the entire process, even checking in during the installation. The installers themselves were top-notch, really thorough and explained everything in detail. And to top it all off, they cleaned up perfectly and left me some extra weather stripping and insulation for the attic doors. Seriously, it was a fantastic experience – I couldn’t have asked for better service!” report abuse
