“They were fantastic – incredibly thorough and delivered everything on time. We’ll definitely be working with them again!”

Honestly, we had a really awful experience with Northfork. From the start, the office staff and the owner were incredibly rude and dismissive, constantly rescheduling appointments and failing to show up on time. After they finally finished the job, it turned out the foundation work was incredibly sloppy – we even had to hire another contractor to level it properly. To top it all off, when we brought this up, they became completely defensive and argued with us over the phone. The whole thing was just unacceptable, and we wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

“I’ve consistently been really impressed with their work – they always deliver amazing results.”

North Fork was a huge disappointment. I placed an order for class 5 material, and the guy initially said he could deliver it to my property near Leader the next morning with some help from friends. He gave me a timeframe of a few hours, but then kept pushing the delivery back with vague excuses. After waiting all day and getting no updates, we finally went home empty-handed at 7:30 PM. The next morning, they called to ask where I wanted the material, and their only solution was to take it back. Honestly, the lack of communication and constant delays were incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. Waiting 24 hours past the agreed-upon delivery time is completely unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend using North Fork for any materials – plan ahead and order at least a week in advance to avoid this kind of trouble.

“I’ve been consistently impressed with their service – they’ve always been there to provide me with the topsoil, peat moss, and dirt I need. I’m hoping to continue our business relationship in the future and would definitely recommend them.”
-
“Honestly, I was really impressed. The shop was spotless and incredibly organized – it’s clear they take a lot of pride in their work and their attention to detail. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and their service.”
-
“I spoke with the receptionist to get the information we needed for our materials request. I provided all the details they asked for, but I’ve been waiting over two weeks for a response regarding delivery – I haven’t heard back from anyone yet.”
-
“I just wanted to say – North Fork Boulders and Excavating’s driveway material is fantastic! It’s incredibly solid and I’m really happy with how it’s holding up on both my parking lots and in my pole barns. Thanks so much!”

I contacted this company to get an estimate for excavating land near Leader, MN, and was given a specific date for when I’d receive it. However, I never heard from them on that date, and they didn’t reach out until two days later. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend using their services.
-
“I’m really disappointed with this – the final bill is three times higher than the initial quote, and frankly, it feels like they weren’t being upfront with us. I’d advise anyone considering working with them to speak to people in their local area to get a better understanding of their reputation.”
