“We couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom – Maxum Design and Development truly exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional and dedicated. The team worked tirelessly each day to ensure we were completely satisfied, and they were exceptionally careful to minimize the mess from the demolition. We really appreciated how responsive both the crew and the office staff were to our questions and concerns. The quality of the work and the materials used were fantastic, and the finished result – a beautiful bathroom with a stunning barn door – is exactly what we envisioned. Our bathroom is spotless and looks amazing, and we wholeheartedly recommend Maxum Design and Development to anyone looking for a reliable and talented design team.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed and frankly, horrified by this experience. This contractor completely vanished with our money after completing a full remodel, leaving us with an uninhabitable home. We’re not alone – many others have been similarly affected, and I urge everyone to proceed with extreme caution.”

“Brian and Jerry were fantastic – truly a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond, creating stunning 3D renderings that perfectly captured our vision for the bathrooms and bar. And I’m thrilled to say the final result was an exact match to those initial designs. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work.”

“We hired Maxum primarily because Jerry and Brian, the designers, were fantastic – incredibly professional, really caring, and they consistently followed through on everything they promised. However, after waiting several months for the work to begin, we were really disappointed. They kept telling us they needed all the materials before starting to avoid delays, but that’s not what happened. The subcontractors they used were consistently making major errors – like removing existing lights without replacing them, installing the wrong tile, and building walls that weren't level. There was very little oversight, and when we raised our concerns to Maxum, we kept getting brushed off with assurances about their successful past projects. Eventually, they did admit the problems and brought in new contractors, but they were quickly hampered by a shortage of replacement tile, which meant we had to wait another two weeks. The communication throughout this whole process has been terrible; they rarely contacted us proactively and we were never given any clear timelines or updates. It's been a hugely frustrating experience, and honestly, I'm not holding out much hope for a positive outcome.”

“Looking back on the whole experience, it’s clear this was a really frustrating and ultimately disappointing renovation. After two years, we’re noticing significant issues – the cabinets are already peeling, the tile grout is cracked, and the quality of the construction was just unacceptable. During the project, we unfortunately experienced a staff walkout, which resulted in the loss of our countertops, though thankfully we were able to recover them through our own efforts. The cabinet work was particularly poor, with inaccurate measurements leading to exposed underfloor space and the use of unattractive trim. The ceiling work was also incredibly uneven, requiring custom trim to be created. To add to the problems, the wrong color cabinets were installed, despite our firm insistence on a different shade that we’d specifically chosen during the planning stages. The project took nearly a year, plagued by missed appointments and workers not showing up, forcing us to constantly chase them for updates. While we’re relieved to finally have it finished, my husband will be addressing a few minor issues before it’s truly complete.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the work this team did! From start to finish, the communication was incredible – they were always so responsive and transparent, answering all my questions promptly. They completely exceeded my expectations, especially with the bathroom remodel for my house, it was truly fantastic. And the mancave they created for my husband? Seriously amazing! He absolutely loves it and it’s become his favorite space. They went above and beyond, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any future projects.”

“We absolutely love our new bathrooms, and Maxum was fantastic throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, John and Taylor were incredibly professional and took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. They sent us a brilliant design for the master bath within a few days, and after a really helpful visit to their showroom, we decided to go ahead and remodel both bathrooms at once. Ricardo and Jose were truly skilled and talented – they were incredibly attentive to detail and kept everything running smoothly with no delays or problems whatsoever. The custom vanities, cabinets, and tiling are just exceptional quality. But what really stood out was the open and honest communication we had with Maxum; they kept us fully informed every step of the way. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough, and we’ll definitely be using their services again in the future.”

“Our kitchen remodel was an incredibly frustrating experience, and unfortunately, it was plagued with serious issues. We had two project managers, but one was completely unreliable – he was frequently intoxicated and would aggressively question us, often on weekends, and even claimed he didn’t remember calls he made while drunk. The other was consistently unavailable. Adding to the problems, our specific requests for custom cabinets – a cubby and a spice rack pull-out – were completely ignored. We were told it was too late to add them, and even after completion, the spice rack was tacked on. Finally, four months after the remodel, our dishwasher was damaged and now leaks. Despite multiple attempts to get someone to address it, we’re still waiting for a resolution. Frankly, it’s been a long and disappointing process, and we strongly advise anyone considering this company to thoroughly research their history – particularly looking at ROC case numbers 202770, as there have been multiple issues and ongoing cases.”

“I couldn’t be happier with Maxum! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Stephanie and John were incredibly helpful, coming to my home to assess my master bathroom and take measurements. I’d been putting off a remodel for ages, but after seeing their design ideas in their Phoenix showroom – I absolutely loved the tile and countertop choices – I finally decided to go for it. The installation was surprisingly fast and incredibly clean, and the installers were professional and kept me updated exactly as promised. I’m absolutely in love with my new bathroom!”

“Overall, we had a fantastic experience working with Maxum Design. They were incredibly accommodating and really listened to our vision, even when we shifted gears. They created a virtual blueprint that was invaluable in helping us visualize the final product, and we appreciated the time they gave us to experiment and refine the design. What really stood out was their professionalism and willingness to incorporate our feedback – they never made us feel rushed and consistently delivered options that perfectly aligned with our desired outcome. Their design studio was also a great space to work in, with lots of helpful samples available.”
