  “I was really impressed with the whole experience – they run a fantastic operation. From the start, David was a huge help; he was incredibly knowledgeable and didn’t try to pressure me into anything. They offered a price that was a little higher than some others, but honestly, the quality of the hardware and the installation was far superior. You could tell they were committed to doing the job right, and I wouldn't have wanted to risk getting cheaper parts or a rushed job. The team was also incredibly efficient and left everything looking spotless. Plus, being authorized installers for Panasonic and Enphase was a key factor for me, and I’m so glad we went with them. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Seriously, I don’t think you’ll find anyone in the Phoenix area who does a better job – I’d definitely recommend them to anyone considering solar!” report abuse

  I was really in a bind – my solar system just completely stopped working and, to make matters worse, the company that installed it went out of business. I was completely lost and didn’t know what to do. Luckily, a friend recommended John Black, and I was hesitant at first. But he didn't pressure me for a huge appointment fee, and he patiently walked me through the problem over the phone, completely free of charge. Honestly, I was so relieved and impressed by his generosity and expertise. Black Platinum Solar deserves a huge five-star rating from me – I’d give them ten if I could! I think John and his company are going to be a fantastic resource for a lot of people in this constantly changing solar market. report abuse

  “After researching several solar companies, Black Platinum really stood out. Unlike the other big names, they weren’t just full of marketing hype – John and his team were refreshingly straightforward and professional. They were super easy to reach and did a fantastic job. The process definitely took a long time thanks to APS and the city’s approvals, but we finally got everything up and running this week. It’s clear now that the 40+ panels some other vendors recommended weren't necessary; we’ve actually had excellent production even with some cloudy days. Plus, the 25-year service warranty with parts and labor included is a huge bonus. If you’re considering solar, I’d recommend steering clear of the companies with all the fancy marketing and going with a local company like Black Platinum. I’d been struggling to find someone to replace my broken solar panel for months, but they were thankfully able to get the part and install it within a week – and at a fair price.   Overall, we had a really positive experience with Black Platinum Solar. John Sr. initially contacted us and provided a quote for adding 19 solar panels and a battery backup system – we decided to go with them, despite the commute to our Payson location. They were incredibly professional from the moment we signed the contract and reassured us the travel wouldn’t be a problem. The design process was a bit lengthy, involving several revisions with APS, but the Black Platinum team remained persistent and eventually got the design approved. Once the crew was scheduled, they were fantastic – punctual, courteous, and professional, and they completed the install in just three days! They even came back within a week to finish up. We’re now officially signed off by the city of Payson and are just waiting for APS to install our meter so we can start using our new 30kw battery backup system. Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with the service – we highly recommend Black Platinum Solar!
