  I really enjoyed my first visit today to pick up some Poplar. They have a fantastic selection of high-quality wood and the prices were surprisingly good for a woodworker like myself. Plus, the boards come in some impressively large sizes – I noticed they were 10 inches wide, so you’d need to do some cutting if you wanted something more manageable. report abuse

I also got a much better deal than I would have at Petermans, about $10 a sheet cheaper. They had a decent selection of sheet goods, and they were really willing to load everything up for me.   “WTH, but Birch did a really quick job for my home renovation – super efficient. I got a great price compared to the big box stores, and it looks pretty good initially.   “We received three boxes of handles, but unfortunately, several were heavily scratched upon opening. We found deep scratches in handles from multiple boxes, and, concerned about the extent of the damage, we returned the entire shipment.
