Honestly, I’ve been a resident here for eight years and I’m incredibly disappointed with how Cobblestone has been managing things. It’s unusual for them to delay trimming the palm trees until January – they’re normally done in July. As you can see from the photos, it’s really impacted the appearance of the property.

“We’ve been enjoying the RV park for over three years, and it was generally a pleasant experience. However, we’ve consistently had issues with the gate security – they’re frequently out of order. More recently, they’ve been left wide open, day and night, which was concerning as there seemed to be no one monitoring access.”

Overall, this RV and Manufactured Home Park is a really nice place. It’s very peaceful and well-kept, and the RV sites are surprisingly spacious with easy-to-use hookups. The residents seem to take great pride in keeping their homes and the park looking great too.

Honestly, things have taken a really sharp turn here. It’s incredibly disappointing. The community used to be such a friendly and enjoyable place to live, but the new management has completely changed the atmosphere with some really strict and, frankly, unreasonable rules. Without the pool, jacuzzi, or even a laundry room, and with the clubhouse situation unresolved, it’s just not the same happy place it once was. Residents are understandably very unhappy with the current situation.

Desertscape is a fantastic park model community in Phoenix. We really loved it – the gated community felt secure, the brand-new gym was gorgeous, and the pool area looked amazing (though it’s currently being upgraded). The streets were spotless and everyone we met was incredibly friendly, especially Peter, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. We’d definitely recommend checking it out!

I absolutely love DesertScape! It’s such a wonderful place – there’s always something going on, like the community meetings and social events. The residents are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it’s just a really safe and clean community to live in. I’d definitely recommend it!

Honestly, this place was a huge disappointment. It really doesn’t live up to the idea of a resort at all. The advertising was misleading – there’s no golf course, no multiple pools, and definitely not the fancy restaurants you’d expect. The biggest letdown was the complete lack of anything equestrian; there weren’t even stables, which was a major factor for me. It felt like a serious deception.

It sounds like there are some ongoing issues with RV traffic in this area, particularly around 19th and Dunlap Street. Residents have reported a lot of RVs parked close to the street, and it’s quite noisy at night due to frequent loudspeaker announcements telling people to move along – essentially, dealing with loitering. The area between 18th and C Street seems to be a hotspot for this activity.

“I’m really disappointed with the ongoing situation regarding the pool. It’s been closed for two summers now – it’s completely unacceptable, especially considering it’s the third year it’s been unavailable. Given the broken promises and lack of amenities, Cobblestone needs to seriously consider offering a rent credit to residents. With lot rents already so high – nearly $1000 – it’s simply not sustainable for seniors on a fixed income.”
-
“We were so impressed with Twila and the whole team – they were incredibly welcoming and gave us a really thorough tour of the park. The location is fantastic, being so close to the light rail, and we especially loved seeing the recently remodeled clubhouse. It looks like a wonderful place to call home, and we’re seriously considering purchasing a property here!”
