  “I’d highly recommend Aquaguard – I’ve used them before and was really pleased with the work they did waterproofing my basement about four years ago. When I found a crack developing in my basement where I’d added an extension, I got a few quotes. To my surprise, the owner, Tom G., actually came out to assess the situation and told me that the other companies’ recommendation of a piering system was completely unnecessary. They no longer do piering, but he was incredibly helpful and honest, and he even pointed me towards some concerning complaints I’d found about the other companies through the Better Business Bureau – which, frankly, backed up his assessment. I really appreciate Aquaguard’s consistency and honesty; they’ve kept my basement and backyard dry even during the heaviest rains since they finished the job. I have no connections to them other than being a satisfied customer in the Pittsburgh area, and I wanted to be upfront about that.” report abuse

  Aquaguard really impressed me. I had them install a drain and sump pump about ten years ago, and they’ve done a fantastic job – not a single drop of water has entered my basement since. The crew was incredibly efficient; they finished the job in a single day and left everything spotless, which was a huge relief. Now I’m dealing with a new issue, and Aquaguard was quick to respond with a competitive price.   “We were really pleased with the work Aquaguard Systems did on our renovation project. As is typical with renovations, we had some drainage problems, and thankfully, our contractor, Jason from Premier Kitchen and Bath, immediately recommended Tom Gallagher. Tom was fantastic – he came out right away, quickly diagnosed the issue, and explained everything in a really clear way. He even squeezed us into his schedule which was incredibly helpful and prevented any delays to our original project. Shawn and his team were on-site soon after, and they were just fantastic! They were incredibly professional, courteous, and friendly, and Shawn took the time to answer all of our questions and keep us updated. They worked really carefully, keeping the area as clean as possible, and even identified that our downspouts weren't installed correctly and offered a solution. They showed us plenty of photos of the work and gave us detailed instructions on how to operate the pump. They handled a project at a historic farmhouse with a stacked stone foundation six years ago, and then recently tackled a modern townhouse. What really stood out was their efficiency; the crews were always in and out quickly and consistently delivered high-quality work.   Chris and his team were absolutely fantastic! They tackled a really complex drainage issue in my backyard – it was a huge challenge with the pool and the slope – and they went above and beyond to fix it. Chris was incredibly dedicated, working tirelessly, even in the heat and on a difficult hillside, to make sure everything was done right and to my satisfaction. From the very beginning, Chris was amazing – he responded to my inquiry so quickly and he even came out to my house within a few days to properly assess the problem. He took the time to explain everything clearly, showed me some examples of their previous work, and answered all my questions with a really detailed explanation.
