I was incredibly disappointed with my experience ordering a pre-hung entryway door from Wisconsin Building Supply. It took weeks for the door to arrive, and when it finally did, they’d installed the wrong trim, significantly narrowing the opening. I tried to work with them to find a solution, but their response was completely unacceptable – they essentially blamed supply chain issues and made a decision about my door without even consulting me. Adding to the frustration, the installer I hired, who I found myself responsible for, ended up having to use expander pieces to close the gaps, which was a completely standard solution given the situation. It’s clear they didn't understand the basics of door installation. Considering I paid nearly $4,000 for this door, I expected a much better level of service and expertise. Honestly, I would strongly advise against using Wisconsin Building Supply – their lack of communication and effort was completely unacceptable.

“I unfortunately had a really poor experience with this company. The products were quite cheap, and when I needed help, the customer service was nonexistent – they weren’t responsive or willing to address my concerns. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them. If you’re looking for reliable service and quality, I’d suggest checking out Feltz Lumber; it’s a good local business.”
-
“The replacement of the old door handles and lock sets went really well. The team worked together seamlessly, and we were able to quickly resolve a compatibility issue caused by the age of the existing hardware thanks to excellent coordination with the manufacturer.”
-
“I’ve had a couple of issues with special orders – most recently, the glass arrived without any glazing strips, which was really disappointing.”

This needs significant improvement.

Honestly, I was really disappointed. It was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time, and I wouldn’t recommend it – zero stars.
