  “I was really impressed with Precision – they went above and beyond to get a special order door for my oddly sized, old garage. Steven, the technician who came out, was fantastic! He was incredibly professional and courteous, and after he installed the new door and opener, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything he did and showed me how to operate and maintain it.   I’d definitely recommend Precision Garage Door Service. I’ve been a customer for quite a while – they installed my original garage door back in 2001 when I built my house. A few years ago, I needed a new opener and they identified a few other things that needed attention to keep the door running smoothly. Recently, I accidentally knocked out of place one of the sensors on the opener, and the door stopped working properly. They got a technician, Pat Stevens, out to me right away. Pat was fantastic – really warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He fixed the problem in just a few minutes! Because of that, I decided to have him take care of some other minor maintenance items I’d been putting off for a while.   Honestly, the work felt a little overblown and expensive. From the start, he seemed focused on recommending a lot more than was actually needed to get the door working again. He insisted on replacing nearly $400 worth of springs, even though the door had been running perfectly fine for over 20 years with just one. report abuse

He explained everything clearly, gave me the final say on what needed to be done, and he was incredibly fast and efficient.   “We were really disappointed with Precision Garage Doors. They initially quoted us $1400 to repair the springs, and then added a $75 service charge. However, after they briefly opened the garage, they immediately asked for an *additional* $100 just to close it back up! It felt completely misleading. We ended up getting a much more reasonable quote of $345 from another company. It seemed like Precision was primarily interested in pushing a new garage door on us, rather than actually fixing the existing one.   Mark did a great job diagnosing and fixing my garage door. He clearly explained the issue and the parts needed, and he gave me a fair price and a realistic timeframe for the repair. Importantly, he showed up on time and got the job done quickly – it was really helpful that he was able to fit it in before my dental appointment.
