  “I was really impressed with Macks – they were the only company that bothered to reach out to me after I contacted them. I’d already had a frustrating experience with two other companies who didn’t return my calls. When I messaged them through their website late at night, I was just hoping for a response the next day, but they contacted me that same night to arrange an inspection for the following day. The inspector was also incredibly friendly, and I felt the price was very reasonable.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience with this company. For eleven years, they’ve been responsible for maintaining and tagging my fire extinguishers, and it’s been a complete nightmare. I bought two defective extinguishers in a row – the first leaked within a year, despite being re-tagged, and they immediately tried to charge me a huge fee for a replacement. Then, when I went to CertaSite, they found the extinguisher was already past its inspection date and the refill bolt was severely damaged, suggesting it had been deliberately tampered with. What’s most concerning is the way they’ve handled this repeatedly. Instead of being upfront about the issues with the extinguishers, they’ve tried to tack on extra charges – demanding the full five-year inspection fee even though the extinguisher was only one year old, and aggressively threatening to involve the Fire Marshall. Frankly, it feels like they're deliberately trying to take advantage of me. I’m deeply disappointed in their lack of honesty and customer service, especially considering the critical role fire safety equipment plays. report abuse

  “I was really disappointed with the final bill. I initially got a quote for $70 plus $7 per tank, but ended up paying $224.88 for two of them. They offered me a much better deal – two for half price! It felt like they weren’t transparent about the total cost and jumped straight into the work without explaining the price beforehand.” report abuse
