  We’re unfortunately giving this company just two stars. Our experience was really disappointing due to both their confusing pricing and the poor quality of the heat pump installation. We hired them to install a heat pump unit, and we’d already taken care of all the electrical work and laid the necessary piping and wiring ourselves. The actual installation was straightforward, much simpler than what we anticipated. In fact, friends in Scarborough who had similar units installed paid less than $1,000. However, this company quoted us $125 per hour for two technicians, which was far higher than we expected. They didn’t disclose this hourly rate upfront, only revealing it after they’d already started the work. Ultimately, the installation ended up costing three times what we’d been told, and they charged us $250 per hour. To add to the frustration, the heat pump didn't even work after they finished! They diagnosed the issue as a faulty circuit board, replaced it, but the unit still wouldn’t function. We eventually discovered the problem was with the wiring ourselves. We felt completely ripped off – not just for the inflated hourly rate, but also for charges like $100 for a basic conduit junction. We wouldn't recommend this company to other homeowners. If you’re considering using them, absolutely get a written quote or estimate in advance, outlining all costs, to avoid any surprises. report abuse

We really appreciated how professional, skilled, and genuinely kind they were during the selection process, and their quote was fair and comparable to others we received. The installation of our new HVAC units was quick and done to a really high standard. We’ve already noticed a huge difference in the air quality in our home, and the systems are remarkably quiet.
