  Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Old Port Specialty Tile. We originally purchased small glass tiles about five years ago for our two shower floors, and they’ve held up remarkably well until recently. About 18 months ago, some started coming loose, and it turned out the manufacturer hadn’t intended them for floor use. What really impressed us was how Old Port Tile handled it – they didn’t hesitate to let us pick out replacement tiles and even installed them at no cost! Now, our new floors look absolutely fantastic, and I’m so happy we chose Old Port Specialty Tile. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for tiles – we’d absolutely use them again. report abuse

  I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I went in to return some tile samples and was hoping to explore options and get quotes for a kitchen backsplash. Unfortunately, I spent about twenty minutes browsing with no one offering to assist me. I eventually had to go to the checkout area to find someone, and even then, it took a while to get help, and the employee seemed annoyed to be assisting me. Ultimately, I left without getting any information or quotes – I’ll definitely be looking at other stores for my project. report abuse

  “My experience at Old Port was really disappointing. The service was poor, and I felt rushed and dismissed, particularly because I was doing the work myself. After a quick visit, I was given a list of questions and samples, but over a month later, I’ve received absolutely no follow-up. Honestly, I’ve found much better deals and services online – they even offer free samples and tile shipping. I’m still holding onto the samples I received from Old Port, hoping they’ll actually contact me, but it’s frustrating. While they have a great selection of unique tiles, the lack of communication and the fact that prices aren’t displayed made it impossible to make a decision. It’s a shame, as I enjoy in-store shopping, but this kind of service is pushing me towards online retailers.” report abuse

We were initially worried when our plan to keep the original hardwood didn't work out, but the final result is absolutely stunning. Our installer was fantastic – he really delivered on your promise and seamlessly blended the old floors with the underlayment. I was particularly blown away by how flawlessly he worked around the radiator; it’s so clean and professional-looking, like it was added afterward. He was incredibly kind, reassuring, and professional, and honestly, incredibly skilled. I also really appreciated your help and guidance both in the store and during the onsite measurement – it’s so refreshing to work with someone who calmly and confidently addressed every challenge.
