  I can’t recommend Infinity Solar – in fact, I strongly advise against using their services. We had our solar system installed in December 2023, and it’s been a complete nightmare. It failed inspection in March 2024, and despite scheduling four appointments to get it fixed, they haven’t responded or followed up. They’ve offered credits that haven't been applied, leaving us paying for a system that isn’t even functioning, and we’re still receiving our regular electricity bill. To add to the frustration, emails are being returned with no response at all. It seems like they’re blaming the electric company and inspector, but the responsibility clearly falls on them. We’re stuck with two unpaid bills and absolutely no accountability. I’m seriously considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. report abuse

  Overall, our experience with this company has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. They were initially very efficient in installing our solar panels and quickly received our full payment. However, they soon discovered a critical issue – a lack of necessary permits – which resulted in a lengthy 18-month delay and significant disruption. Despite this initial setback, the biggest issue now is the complete failure of the system. While they did cover our PGE bills during the permit process, the panels are now not producing any power. We’ve been repeatedly contacted, but the electrician they promised never showed, and they didn’t inform us until after the fact. Now, weeks later, we’re still waiting for an electrician to be scheduled. It's clear there have been significant communication breakdowns and a lack of follow-through, and we’re extremely concerned about the ongoing lack of power and the unresolved issues. report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with Infinity Solar! We had our panels installed about two years ago, and the whole experience was fantastic. From the initial consultation to the installation itself, everyone we dealt with was incredibly helpful and responsive. They were always quick to answer any questions we had, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. It’s really reassuring to know they still check in on us after all this time, just to make sure everything’s running perfectly. Plus, our electric bills have been unbelievably low – it’s fantastic!   Overall, I had a really positive experience with Infinity Solar. It started out a bit challenging – my old electrical box, despite being capable of handling the new system, wasn’t wired correctly, and it wasn’t immediately obvious until after the installation. To make matters a little more complicated, I was changing my mind about the project frequently. However, Infinity stepped up and resolved everything incredibly quickly. They identified the problem, Pacific Power had to shut off the power temporarily, but they replaced the box and had everything inspected and back up and running within 24 hours. I appreciated that their price was competitive with other electricians I’d gotten quotes from, and they were able to add extra solar panels for purely aesthetic reasons without any hassle. I know I could be a demanding customer, as it’s my own home, but I truly felt taken care of. I'm extremely pleased with the energy savings, the quality of the installation, and how it looks on my house. They were the only company that presented me with a clear plan for savings from the start, which is a huge benefit. I wholeheartedly recommend Infinity Solar to anyone considering going solar. report abuse

  Overall, my experience was really disappointing. The salesperson was overly aggressive about pushing financing options and inflated the final price by about $10,000 after the contract was drawn up – and without including any tax rebates. Beyond that, the installation itself was neat, but the electrician completely missed testing the system, causing a nearly two-week delay. It was frustrating that the salesperson didn’t keep me informed, and I often had to chase them down for updates via email. Ultimately, I felt I overpaid for substandard work and wouldn’t recommend this place. report abuse

  “I’m so incredibly pleased with Infinity Solar! They handled the entire process – a complete roof tear-off with 32 panels installed – with such professionalism and helpfulness. Seriously, from the sales team right on down to the laborers, everyone was fantastic. They were so responsive and knowledgeable throughout the whole thing. And the best part? My monthly electric bill has been a consistently low $10 all year! I even received a check from the electric company for $1100 – a nice surprise because I was on auto-pay and forgot to cancel it after the panels were installed – my mistake, but a fantastic outcome. I’ll definitely be using Infinity Solar again when I build my next home. They’re awesome!” report abuse

  Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on that text: “This company seems like a reasonable option for installing solar panels, but they work with Dividend Finance for financing. I’d really advise you to do some extra research into Dividend Finance – they have a seriously poor reputation for customer service, and their parent bank, 5th 3rd Bank, has a history of legal issues including accusations of predatory and discriminatory practices. It’s worth considering whether these factors align with your priorities.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Infinity Solar. I started this project back in June and July of 2023 with high hopes, requesting a substantial solar system with full battery backup, surge protection, and a 220V outlet – everything I needed. Despite a fantastic initial salesman, the process has been a complete disaster. It’s now almost ten months later, and the solar system isn’t even operational – we’ve generated zero watts of power. I’ve repeatedly contacted them for reimbursement for missed deadlines, but I’ve received absolutely no response. We recently failed an inspection because there’s simply no solar power. My point of contact has stopped responding entirely. Throughout this frustrating ordeal, we’ve been visited by random people asking for updates, often without any notice, making it impossible to plan for potential power outages. The electrician even questioned which circuit we wanted for the battery backup, insisting we only get one when I’d specifically requested full battery backup. He offered a vague “that’s just how it works.” They didn’t build the system to my specifications, and they didn’t install the surge protection I’d asked for. It’s clear they weren’t committed to delivering what I paid for. Because of all of this, I'm now paying both my solar bill and my electrical bill, and I’m forced to find a new company to complete the job – which will create a whole new set of complications with different battery brands and warranties. Frankly, it's been a complete waste of time and money. I’m updating this review as things continue to develop, and my rating will likely reflect the ongoing lack of communication and delivery from Infinity Solar.” report abuse
