  I was really disappointed with my experience working with Rick Jones at NSPJ. I initially contacted them in October 2016, and he assured me they’d be able to get started in the first quarter of 2017. I followed up in March 2017, and he told me they were still completely overwhelmed and wouldn’t be able to help me until next year. Frankly, I was shocked – I felt like I’d been misled. I expressed my frustration, but there was no apology or attempt to find a solution. He just kept repeating that they were “swamped” and didn’t have time. Considering NSPJ has a good reputation, and I’ve even seen some of their work, the lack of professionalism and communication was a serious letdown. It felt like they didn’t value my business, and I’m now looking for a provider who treats their clients with more respect. report abuse

  “We were absolutely thrilled with the patio and landscaping NSPJ – Katie Martinovic and Brad Hus specifically – designed for us. Even though it was a smaller project, they treated it with incredible care and attention, as if it were the most important thing in the world. They really took the time to understand our needs, not just for the look of our home, but also to tackle some tricky drainage problems we had with the slope between our back doors. Katie and Brad were fantastic – they came up with some really creative designs and detailed plans, always mindful of our budget. They listened patiently to our ideas and helped us shape them into a fantastic plan. They also took care of the structural aspects, like the footings and rebar, and even recommended some reliable contractors. They were incredibly helpful with getting the permits and comparing bids, and they checked in on the progress regularly. Ultimately, we have a stunning two-tiered brick and concrete patio with a retaining wall and beautiful landscaping – it’s exactly what we wanted, and we can’t praise Katie and Brad and NSPJ enough for their professionalism, dedication, and genuinely enjoyable experience.” report abuse
