I just wanted to send a huge thank you to your crew working on the Maple Lake residential roads – they’re doing an absolutely fantastic job! It was especially appreciated that one of the guys on our street stopped what he was doing to help my husband get a freezer into his truck while I was dealing with our toddler. I’m incredibly disappointed with the conduct of this road construction crew. I’ve personally experienced being treated disrespectfully and aggressively by the employees while they’re working on the road between Nimrod and Sekeba. It seems their behavior changes drastically depending on whether Wadena County is observing them – they’re polite when being watched, but become incredibly hostile and even threatened if not. They’ve parked vehicles in a way that creates a dangerous situation for drivers, and I’m seriously concerned about the potential for an accident. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.
