  I’m incredibly disappointed with the experience we had with Empire Carpet. Just one month after having carpet installed in my basement, it’s been a complete disaster. We’ve tried repeatedly to get them to address the problems, but they haven’t done anything to fix the situation. They initially told us the installers would be there between 8am and 6pm, but nobody showed up, and we couldn’t reach them all day. Eventually, they arrived at 6:15 pm, assuring us it would be a quick install, but they were still working until nearly 3 am, waking my children in the process. Adding to the frustration, we were overcharged and, despite multiple attempts, we still haven't received the promised partial refund. Honestly, it's been unbelievable, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend Empire Carpet based on this experience – it’s been far below what I’ve come to expect from other companies we’ve used.” report abuse

  “I was really pleased with the whole experience. Andrew was fantastic – he came out the very next day after I booked my appointment, and the measurement was super quick and simple.   “Despite arriving a little later than scheduled, the team did a fantastic job with the installation. They were really focused and took extra care, even moving and re-assembling all our furniture. Ultimately, he helped us create a plan that’s significantly cheaper and will be completed three weeks faster than the quote we received from Home Depot.   David was fantastic! He was so professional and kept us on schedule, and he really went above and beyond by presenting us with several flooring options and transparent pricing. I especially appreciated how competitive his prices were, and the detailed information he gave us about the warranties for each carpet. Getting the samples delivered to our home to see the colors and textures was a really helpful step in the process.   Todd was fantastic! He completely delivered on what I needed when I booked the appointment, and it was clear he’d prepared thoroughly based on the information I provided online. I was especially impressed that he was available to come out on a Sunday, arriving just three hours after I scheduled him. He was incredibly professional, courteous, and even offered some helpful insights related to other projects I’m working on.   “It’s been just under a year since they completed the bathroom and kitchen floors, and frankly, I’m really disappointed. The edges are curling up badly, the floors look pitted, and they’ve stopped looking clean even after washing. I followed up, and they promised to get back to me within a few days, but I never heard from them. Then they asked for photos and again said they’d get back to me in a little while. It’s frustrating because they offer a warranty, but it feels useless if no one ever responds. Looking back, I should have only done the smaller spaces, especially considering I paid almost $4,000 for something that’s already showing signs of wear after just a year – it’s incredibly disheartening.” report abuse
