  Michael and Curtis completely blew me away with the kitchen they designed. It’s so much more impressive than I ever imagined! They really nailed the mid-century modern style, and their design process was fantastic – they opened my eyes to so many cool options and ideas I hadn’t even considered. Plus, they brilliantly incorporated my love for art, creating a stunning gallery-like space that’s become the heart of my home and a fantastic source of inspiration.   “We were thrilled with the work Dorian Bahr did for us! We initially approached them with plans for a kitchen remodel, really drawn to their style we’d seen in their portfolio. We ended up completely transforming our kitchen – knocking down a wall, updating everything with modern finishes and appliances. But the project quickly expanded to include flooring, a wet bar, fireplace updates, and even painting the whole house! What really impressed us was how thoroughly Dorian planned everything out. They spent a lot of time creating layout options and we had several meetings, both at our house and in their office, where they showed us tons of material samples. It was a fantastic collaboration, blending their expertise with our ideas to create a beautiful and truly personalized space. Their material suggestions were spot on, and they were brilliant at incorporating our vision while respecting the existing design of our home. The project took a little longer than originally anticipated, but honestly, it was absolutely worth the wait.   “I’m so pleased with the work this team did for me. It was my third contractor I’d contacted, and from the start, their representative really stood out. He was incredibly thorough, showing me every option – colors, samples, everything – and he had some fantastic ideas that completely changed my vision. He even brought in pictures of past projects to demonstrate how the samples would look in a real space, which was really helpful. While they weren’t the cheapest option, their passion and professionalism were truly impressive, and that’s why I chose them. I was also really impressed that they completed the interior work on time and, crucially, within budget.” report abuse

  “Honestly, I wouldn’t use this company again. The remodeling work they did on my new house was just unacceptable. There were serious issues with the installation – the shower pan and tankless water heater were both done incorrectly. To make matters worse, Curtis was incredibly rude and dismissive towards my real estate agent during the whole process. The paperwork they provided regarding repairs was also poorly done and I had concerns about the quality of the labor they used. Disturbingly, I’ve since learned that neighbors observed them trying to conceal problems from the conservation district to avoid fixing damaged bricks.” report abuse

  “I really struggled with this project – communication was extremely poor and it made it incredibly difficult to get anything done. Progress was almost stalled due to a lack of responsiveness, so I’d definitely advise proceeding with caution if clear communication is a priority for you.” report abuse
