“I’ve been using this place for over 20 years, and I’ve always been really pleased. The staff are incredibly friendly and they offer fair prices for my metal – which is great, especially since I always take the time to strip and clean my scrap before bringing it in; it really makes a difference in what I get paid.”

“I recently sold a catalytic converter here and only got $30 for it. I’ve sold three similar ones before and received around $130 each. When I asked about the price drop, the lady just directed me to the person who identified the converter, but he didn’t even check it out. It was really frustrating – they seemed completely uninterested in actually buying it. Honestly, it’s a shame because they’re losing business from our area, and I’m going to be taking my metal recycling to a place in Utah instead.”

I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience. I brought in 398 pounds of various metals – stainless steel, red brass, yellow brass, and copper – and was frankly shocked by the incredibly low offer of just $19.90. The metals hadn’t been sorted, which I understood would affect the price, but receiving only .05 per pound was unacceptable. This material came from a single job and hadn’t been accumulated over time. I’ve dealt with scrap metal businesses for years and know exactly what a fair price should be. It’s clear Pacific isn’t valuing my business, and I won't be returning with my approximately $5000 in recycling annually. I expect my scrap to be properly sorted, and this was a significant oversight.

“I was really impressed with their help – they went above and beyond to find exactly what I needed and even showed me how they could source some pieces from the remnants pile at a much lower cost than buying a whole new piece. They were friendly and honest, and I’ll definitely be returning to them for my steel needs in the future.”
-
“Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with this job. The pay was incredibly low, and it felt like a huge waste of time – a two-hour drive to Ogden only to get paid so little. It definitely wasn’t worth the effort.”
-
“The team was fantastic to work with – really collaborative and positive.”
-
“They were consistently friendly and clearly very knowledgeable about their subject.”
-
That’s a really solid preference – metal definitely has a powerful sound.
