Honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed with the recent developments in Mission Hills. It feels like the designs are completely out of sync with the area’s established character – the buildings are far too large and imposing, and they’re really disrupting the neighborhood’s skyline. It’s disheartening to see how they’re impacting our charming streets. I especially felt this was evident with the building on the corner of Washington and Goldfinch – it just doesn’t fit in with the surrounding homes.

“I’ve been really impressed with NDD’s work – you really don’t have to look far to see they’re a step above the rest. Their projects are so thoughtfully designed, really fitting in with the surrounding area and landscape. It’s great to see someone taking the time and putting in the extra effort to create such beautiful and unique buildings, especially when so much development feels so generic.”

“NDD is an incredibly impressive firm. As a family-owned business, they clearly have a real passion for their work, consistently raising the bar for design and architecture while focusing on creating valuable community spaces that really improve neighborhoods. It’s fantastic to see a company like NDD making such a positive impact in San Diego.”

This has been an incredibly frustrating and unsettling experience. I’ve been dealing with NDD developers who are located right next to my property, and their actions have caused significant disruption and concern. From the beginning, promises have been made and then quickly retracted, leaving me with a severely compromised property. They removed the retaining wall between our properties in 2017 without any warning, and despite my property being much higher than theirs, they left my land unsupported for months. Then, they tried to convince me to take down my own fence, making misleading promises about replacing it with a new, better fence – even suggesting a 4-6 week timeframe. As of today, March 6, 2019, over 20 months later, nothing has been done. They’re cutting the rebar meant to raise the retaining wall, leaving my soil at a dangerous slant and preventing me from being able to replant. Their behavior has been completely unacceptable. They’ve operated a massive crane right over my building and garden, bringing in huge loads of wood and getting dangerously close to my windows. They’ve dismissed my concerns completely, refusing to engage in any meaningful communication and consistently prioritizing their own project over my property. They even refused to reimburse me for sawdust tracked onto my property and denied responsibility for knocking over my tree. It’s clear they have shown absolutely no respect for me as a homeowner, especially as a senior citizen. Their actions have created a dangerous situation and left me with a severely altered and unsafe property.

“The Nakhshab team is fantastic – genuinely great people to collaborate with. They have a really strong understanding of what needs to be done and consistently deliver high-quality work. Importantly, they blend design expertise with the practical skills of builders and engineers, which results in projects that are both well-designed and cost-effective.”

“NDD is really making a positive impact on San Diego’s revitalization. As a family-owned business, they’re consistently improving the quality of life for our community through their development projects.”
-
“I was really disappointed with the service I received. I was initially told there were limited units available, but then I was completely left in the dark. Despite having numerous phone numbers to contact, no one ever returned my calls. It seemed like they weren’t interested in communicating, and I worry about how difficult it would be to get support if anything were to go wrong with the units – especially considering the lack of any communication or background checks.”
-
“The listing was really misleading; the photos didn't accurately represent the property, and unfortunately, the constant noise from construction wasn't disclosed beforehand.”
-
“The designs themselves were really impressive. However, it was incredibly frustrating that once the work was finished, we couldn’t get any support or assistance, especially for warranty issues. Attempts to contact them were consistently unsuccessful – they simply disappeared and didn’t return our calls.”
