  Paul was a fantastic asset to the team – he really knew his stuff and patiently walked us through every step of the foundation process, expertly handling any roadblocks that came up. Martins was brilliant as the lead; he’s incredibly hands-on and kept the whole crew motivated.   “We were so pleased with Benitez Concrete – we wholeheartedly recommend them. We hired them to build the foundation for our new home in Menlo Park – a 2600 square foot house with a 260 square foot detached garage. They built a fantastic perimeter foundation with no basement for the house and a concrete slab for the garage. Paul Benitez was incredibly responsive and provided a really detailed and competitive bid when we contacted him online. The quality of their work was outstanding; they were incredibly meticulous and paid great attention to detail. We did have a small issue due to a mistake on the architect’s plans, but Paul handled it swiftly and fairly. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.   “We couldn’t be happier with the work Benitez Concrete Construction did for us. A few weeks ago, during a really heavy rainstorm, I was just admiring how well our new driveway was draining thanks to Paul’s design – it was amazing to see it working exactly as he’d planned. Our project was a fairly complex driveway, going from the street to the garage and winding between two large oak trees. Our arborist advised against parking cars or putting a traditional driveway directly on the ground near the roots, so we needed a creative solution. Paul came up with the brilliant idea of a bridge over the roots, and it was exactly what we needed. We contacted three contractors to get bids and plans, and from the very first meeting with Paul, we knew he was the right person for the job. His design for the bridge was the best of the three, and honestly, we could see how the others’ ideas would have caused major headaches. Paul was incredibly patient, offered fantastic creative input, and his crew really delivered – they did an absolutely beautiful job! They even handled all the extra dirt and had a great spot to put it. He also helped us design our front steps and walkways, plus a pad for our air conditioning and side garage door. Paul was so flexible and fair with his pricing. Everything turned out perfectly, and we wholeheartedly recommend Benitez Concrete Construction – you really can’t go wrong!” report abuse
