“I’ve been really pleased with Ensign Engineering’s work. They’re incredibly professional, and I always receive very clear and well-organized drawings, along with excellent customer service.”

“I had Ensign Engineering create the plans for my 35x45 foot steel garage, opting for footings and foundations instead of a slab. Unfortunately, the process was incredibly frustrating. It took them nearly two and a half months to deliver the plans, and when they finally arrived, they were excessively complex and, frankly, over-engineered—three different concrete contractors and another engineering firm confirmed this. The plans were also difficult to understand, especially compared to plans I’ve seen from other firms. I tried reaching out to the engineer, but was told they’d left Ensign Engineering. It took several days of persistent phone calls to get another engineer to review the plans, and even then they agreed the designs were unnecessarily complicated. I spoke with Cody Santos about making some changes almost two weeks ago, and he promised a quick turnaround, but I haven’t heard from him since. Because of these issues – the long lead time, the overly complex plans, and the lack of communication – I’ve had to consult with the city, my concrete contractor, and another engineering firm to move forward with the necessary revisions. I wouldn’t recommend using Ensign Engineering based on this experience.”

“I had a really positive experience working with Justin and the team at Ensign Engineering. Justin was incredibly personable and approachable, and I quickly decided to move forward with their services. They were very accommodating when I needed a little extra time on the project, and I appreciated how consistently they kept me updated on progress. The team itself was also very friendly and professional, and the aerial photos they provided were outstanding. Justin handled a small challenge with real skill and a great attitude. I wholeheartedly recommend Ensign Engineering – they’re a solid company you can trust.”

“I’ve been in the building trade for 35 years, and I can honestly say I’ve never encountered structural engineers as skilled and approachable as those at Ensign. Their deep experience and hands-on approach were particularly valuable when tackling some challenging projects, and they were always really easy to work with.”

“I was really disappointed with the service we received. After the work was completed, we never got the promised signed survey, and Bill, our project manager, didn’t provide the crucial city code or offer any assistance finding the information we needed. To add to the frustration, he insisted on payment after just a few days, despite the agreed-upon net 30 terms. Bill has also been completely unresponsive – he hasn’t returned my calls or emails.”
-
“The surveyor’s assessment seems significantly skewed in favor of the developer. He admitted the survey results were inaccurate and attributed the issue to shifting property lines, specifically noting a 30-foot change overnight without explanation. It raises serious concerns about the accuracy and reliability of the work.”
-
“I really enjoyed working with this team – they were incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and thankfully avoided any overly pushy sales tactics that I’ve encountered elsewhere.”
-
“This team truly stands out – they’re incredibly professional, operate with the highest ethical standards, and have a fantastic record of achievement reflected in their well-deserved awards.”
-
“Overall, this was a really positive experience – a great company with fantastic people.”
