  “I was extremely concerned during the operation. A Dodge Ram truck was observed texting and driving, which resulted in a near-accident – they drove off the shoulder and into the grass. I’ve been unable to reach anyone to discuss this directly, including attempting to speak with the company president, as their voicemail is full. Honestly, this experience has left me with serious reservations about working with this company due to the apparent disregard for safety.” report abuse

  Overall, I was really impressed with Gordon Contracting’s work on the recent $18 million project in Searsport. The finished result is fantastic – the town looks absolutely amazing!   This was incredibly disruptive and poorly managed. It felt completely chaotic – people were just letting equipment sit around while they observed children playing. Shutting down Rt 1 was a completely unreasonable decision, and the resulting congestion on the surrounding streets was unacceptable.
