“I really appreciated Jonathan’s help when I was looking for a new mower. We met at the Northwest Sportshow, and he followed through on his promise to demo both mowers on my property. He even came over after the store closed one evening to do the test run. While the zero-turn mower was great, it struggled on my yard’s steeper slopes, but the lawn tractor worked perfectly. Jonathan never pushed me to buy anything – he was incredibly patient answering all my questions and was so accommodating to my schedule. It was a genuinely pleasant experience dealing with him!”

I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Sheldon for the fantastic service he provided today. He came out to my house to fix my Ariens snowblower, and he was incredibly helpful. He not only got it running perfectly quickly, but he also took the time to explain a few things to me so I can maintain it properly. He was so patient and clear – I really appreciate his professionalism and kindness!

“I was really impressed with MN Equipment – they did a fantastic job servicing our John Deere mower. They were so professional and got it back to me incredibly quickly; it was picked up Tuesday and delivered back on Friday! Definitely exceeded my expectations.”

“The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond trying to locate parts for my vintage John Deere Sabre tractor and snowblower. It’s definitely a challenge finding parts for older equipment like that.”

I was really impressed with my experience buying a zero-turn mower at Minnesota Equipment. I’d been looking for months and when I finally visited their Savage location, Daryl O. was fantastic. He quickly understood what I needed and steered me towards a Gravely ZT 54XL. During the test drive, Daryl was incredibly thorough – he even noticed a slight vibration and insisted on not letting me buy it until they could figure out the cause. It was such a refreshing change to encounter a salesperson who genuinely prioritized quality over a quick sale! Thankfully, it turned out to be a simple fix, and I ended up driving away with a perfectly functioning machine that evening. Honestly, my whole experience was down to Daryl’s honesty and integrity. Plus, the Gravely ZT 54XL is a great machine – thanks to both Daryl and Gravely!

“JD Mower experts were fantastic! They really know their stuff and were able to help me keep my aging F510 running smoothly. My local dealer just couldn’t seem to offer the same level of support, but JD Mower experts stepped right in and got the job done.”

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at this dealership. I purchased a part for my lawn tractor, only to find it was defective and in an open box. Then, I bought a set of spark plugs that were completely the wrong ones and almost caused serious damage to my engine. After the original part failed to fix my tractor, they told me it would be five weeks before they could even look at it. To make matters worse, when I inquired about buying a new tractor, a salesperson simply didn’t seem interested in helping me. He said they didn’t have the model I needed and would be two months out, even though the X350 is a very common lawn tractor. He promised to check other stores, but never followed up. It’s frustrating to be ignored when I’m a regular customer right next door! I ended up driving 25 miles to another dealer and buying a new tractor the same day. It's awful that this store is just a mile away, and I feel like they don’t value my business. I’m going to take my business elsewhere from now on – I won’t be subjected to this kind of unhelpful and dismissive service.

“Overall, they did a solid job assembling everything. However, I was disappointed that their equipment was left outside, and I’m concerned about the condition of my Aaron’s snowblower – all the screws are rusted despite it being brand new. Also, I would have appreciated a proactive call regarding the snowblower’s tune-up; I only needed an oil change.”

Overall, we’ve had a decent experience with this parts supplier, primarily for our Gravely mowers and Stihl equipment. We usually get replacement parts from the local Stihl dealer, but we primarily source everything through Gravely. I handle most of the repairs and maintenance myself, and they send the more complex engine issues back to them. Turnaround times are generally okay – sometimes parts are in stock quickly, other times it takes a few days. We keep backup equipment on hand, so we’re not constantly rushed. I think it’s important to manage expectations; they won't typically fix something the same day you drop it off, which is realistic for most places. Sales have been fine, and I know the team well, particularly Jayson – he’s a good guy. However, there was one instance that was a bit frustrating. We brought in a ZTR that was surging in the hydro lines and wouldn’t reverse. When we picked it up, the problem was back. The tech responded with a dismissive comment about reverse usage, which was completely inappropriate. It turned out the hydro oil filter was loose, letting air in – something I should have checked, but really, they should have. That’s partly why I’ve started doing more of the diagnostics and repairs myself.

“I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. My drive belt broke unexpectedly this weekend, and they quickly ordered a replacement – I’m confident it’ll be back before the weekend!”
