  “The technician was fantastic – really friendly and took the time to explain everything he was doing, which was great because I’ve never really been sure how to properly flush my plumbing. I hadn't even heard of an anode rod before, and I’m really glad they took care of that for me. Yes, it was an extra cost to replace the anode, and it was definitely the right call given how old and worn the original one was – it looked like it had been in the water for ages!   “We recently had AC by J install a new AC and heating system in our park model, and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Our old system was from 1989, and we wanted a straightforward replacement, but it was definitely needed. From the very beginning, AC by J offered a fantastic price and truly outstanding customer service – Julie in the office was especially wonderful. Zach and Charlie, the installers, did a fantastic job, and they even noticed the original 2-ton system was too wide. They quickly took it back, moved it out with a crane, and replaced it with a similar model that fit perfectly.   “I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from AC by J! They really saved the day after a terrible experience I had with another company – it seemed like they were either completely incompetent or just trying to rip people off. Mario was absolutely fantastic! He was so knowledgeable, incredibly thorough, and just a genuinely polite and professional guy. He didn’t leave until he was absolutely certain everything was working perfectly, which was a huge relief compared to the other company who seemed to just rush through the job. Mario did a fantastic job troubleshooting and replacing the parts under warranty, and the best part was they didn’t charge me a single penny for his labor!   “Overall, I had a really positive experience with J’s AC service. The scheduling was smooth, and I appreciated being notified when the technician was on his way. He was very thorough, explaining everything he was going to do and keeping me informed with updates and pictures throughout the inspection.   “I was absolutely shocked by the price J Plumbing charged me for a really simple job – just replacing an old copper fitting on a hose bib. It took them less than fifteen minutes and the part cost $3.00. They quoted me $460.00! That's an insane rate for such a small job. It felt like they were charging $1,840 an hour for labor, which is completely ridiculous. I refused the price, and they still tacked on a $38.00 trip charge. Honestly, it was a blatant rip-off, and I won’t be using them again.” report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from AC By J, especially with Mikey! I’ve had plumbers come out to my house over the years, and Mikey was by far the best. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue with my washer drain, and he offered a fair price for a lasting solution. What really stood out was how professional he and his team were – they even had sharp, maroon uniforms that just added to the really positive impression.
