  “I only leave reviews for places that really stand out – either incredibly good or really disappointing. I ordered two shipments of rocks from this supplier and unfortunately, the quality was quite inconsistent.   Ben seems to really value this place – he’s a long-time customer and consistently praises the good selection and prices. He particularly appreciates the helpful staff, especially for those doing it themselves, and the fact that they let customers shovel and load their own materials for free.   “We were really impressed with the front staff – they were so helpful and quick to assist us first-time customers. We placed an order on Thursday afternoon and it was delivered on Saturday morning for $50. However, we were a little surprised by the quality of the Apache Brown screenings; we’d anticipated a really clean, ready-to-spread product at $48.25 per ton.” report abuse

  I was really disappointed with my recent order. I ordered 7 yards of premium mulch, but I received compost instead. When I contacted them about it, they insisted that’s what it was, despite the fact that it looked completely different from the pictures on their website. I needed it for weed control, but this just isn’t suitable at all. report abuse

  “Everything went really smoothly with my order of Table Mesa Brown – they delivered the 15 tons exactly where I needed it, and there was very little dust and only a tiny bit of “minus” material. I was really pleased with the quality of the rock and the excellent service I received.” report abuse

  “I’ve been consistently pleased with A and A’s landscaping services over the years. However, my recent experience with a 5-ton order of 1-inch minis was disappointing. The delivery arrived with a significant amount of dirt – roughly 30-40% – and I’ve contacted them about it twice, but I haven’t heard back from a manager as promised.” report abuse
