I really appreciated his excellent communication and the way he kept me updated on everything the contractors were doing. He took the time to explain the different types of equipment and solar system styles, and he clearly outlined the pros and cons of each. He really listened to my ideas and what I was hoping to achieve with the system, and we discussed everything from the permitting process to financing and how the system would perform considering our area’s hurricane risks.   “I was really hoping to switch to solar, but my experience with this company was incredibly frustrating. The salesperson gave me a lot of inaccurate information about the lease deal, particularly regarding HOA approval and panel protection. He confidently assured me they’d handle everything with my HOA, which wasn’t true, and that the panels would be covered if they got damaged – even though we live near a golf course where balls frequently land. Unfortunately, the actual agreement didn't include any of those protections, and now I’m responsible for fixing several damaged panels at my own expense. Throughout the five months it took to get the solar system installed, communication was terrible. My salesperson, Mike, was difficult to reach, and I felt completely ignored. On top of that, they started offering better deals to my neighbors, and when I expressed my concerns, I was only promised a referral bonus that I never received. I’ve followed up multiple times, but still haven’t heard anything. Ultimately, the solar system hasn't significantly lowered my bills, and I’m now facing a $500 repair bill due to the misrepresented panel coverage. Honestly, there are a lot of solar companies out there, and I’d strongly recommend exploring other options before committing.” report abuse
