  “We hired Elegant Floor Services back in late April of 2014, and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Francisco and Ernesto were fantastic – both incredibly professional, efficient, and really detail-oriented. Our floors had gotten pretty rough after a refinishing two years prior, with lots of scratches, dents, and uneven spots, but they completely transformed them! They even took the time to carefully match the new shoe molding to the existing floor stain, and the whole process was handled so smoothly – they only charged for the labor. Honestly, we’d absolutely use Elegant Floor Services again and would definitely recommend them to anyone we know.” report abuse

  “I’d absolutely recommend this team – I used them a few years back while I was away, and they did a fantastic job. They were incredibly trustworthy and took really good care of my floors.   Honestly, we were incredibly disappointed with Elegant Floors. They started off seeming like a good referral, with a friendly salesman who assured us they didn’t use subcontractors. However, on the day of the work, subcontractors showed up and did a passable job prepping the floors, though they missed a lot of areas needing filling and sanding, and we had to point them out repeatedly. Plus, they only applied one coat of finish, and completely neglected things like the quarter round and stair edges. We had very limited access to the floor while it was being worked on, and when we checked back in, it was clear they hadn’t done the job properly. We contacted Elegant Floors multiple times, but they never returned our calls. The subcontractor finally applied the second coat, but even their work was just okay. What really bothered us was their complete lack of responsiveness and the dismissive attitude they had when we raised our concerns. It felt like they didn't care about our satisfaction at all. To make matters worse, they took our final payment before we’d even approved the finished work. After 30 years of homeownership and numerous remodeling projects, we've never experienced such poor service – from the quality of the work to the absolute disregard for customer service. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company. report abuse

  We were absolutely thrilled with EFS’s work on our upstairs floors – they completely transformed them from a faded honey yellow to a beautiful warm brown! So impressed, we decided to have them refinish the entire downstairs too, and they exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly efficient, finishing the work much faster than we anticipated, and with absolutely no dust! We’ve also used them for our recent kitchen renovation, where they seamlessly matched new oak flooring to our existing 1940 oak – it’s truly a stunning transition. Honestly, EFS has made our home so much cozier and more beautiful, and we wholeheartedly recommend them! report abuse

  I was really looking forward to having this well-established company refinish the floors in my new custom home, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. The crew arrived an hour late without any communication, and they didn't even have the right equipment for the job. Worse yet, they seemed completely unprepared – they hadn’t assessed the unique design of my home, and they hadn’t considered containing the dust created during sanding. I specifically asked about protecting my furniture and artwork, but they hadn’t planned for any dust control. I contacted the owner, Steve, and he was completely out of the loop, having no idea about my home’s layout or the project itself. He sent the crew back with the correct equipment, but they still didn’t start until later that afternoon. Ultimately, they never showed up, and Steve didn’t return my calls. I learned through my insurance company that the project was being cancelled. It was clear that Steve and his company lacked professionalism, respect, and a commitment to their customers – I absolutely would not recommend them. report abuse
