  “I couldn’t be happier with the work Floormax did on my condo several years ago, and I went right back to them when I had two water leaks. Because my original flooring was no longer available, and with my open floorplan, I didn’t want a full refloor. Masoud and Robert were fantastic – they really listened to my concerns and came up with a brilliant solution. They cleverly used the existing flooring from my bedroom to match the damage in my foyer and hallway perfectly. Then, they expertly installed the slightly different flooring in the bedroom, seamlessly blending it with the rest. It saved me a huge amount of hassle and money! More recently, when a leak from the unit above caused significant damage to my foyer, I immediately called Floormax again. Masoud and Robert, along with Wilbur and Lucy, did an amazing job. They hauled up the right flooring from my basement and expertly installed it, even adding a really thoughtful finishing touch around the doorframe that made the whole repair look brand new. Honestly, they were so patient and accommodating, and they truly understood what I was looking for.   Overall, we were incredibly pleased with Floormax in Aspen Hill. We were looking to update our kitchen, morning room, and powder room with hardwood to match our foyer, and Floormax stood out with their good selection and competitive prices. Frances at the store was so helpful, and Robert quickly followed up with a measurement and estimate. The installation team, Jose and Cesar, did an absolutely fantastic job – they really transformed our space! Jose was particularly diligent, spending the entire second day ensuring the job was done perfectly, and he took care of cleaning up after himself. Robert also deserves a huge thank you for coordinating the plumbing work to reinstall our fixtures, making the whole process seamless.   Honestly, my experience with flooring was a complete turnaround after the initial disaster with my washer. I went to a place that was really pushing a sale and left me even more confused about the options. They steered me towards a less-than-inspiring, cheaper choice. Then, a neighbor suggested Floormax in Aspen Hill, and I’m so glad I listened! Robert and Masoud were absolutely fantastic – they took the time to really understand what I wanted and needed, without any pressure at all. I immediately clicked with both of them, and together we found a stunning engineered wood floor that was perfect for my home. And to top it off, Masoud was able to get me some great discounts, especially since I had insurance money, so I actually ended up saving money! The installation was seamless too; the installers were incredibly professional, even moving my piano – and they put everything back exactly as they found it, and the job was done in just a few hours.   “I recently had Floormax in Silver Spring remodel my bathroom, and I’m incredibly pleased with the overall job – it turned out fantastic! However, just under four months later, we discovered a leak that was causing water to seep into our basement. The original installer was really great about taking care of it, even though it wasn't part of the work he’d initially done. It was so reassuring to see someone step up and fix the problem. Honestly, it’s rare to find a contractor who goes above and beyond like Floormax did, and I’m definitely a client for life!   “I visited the store looking for tile options for my bathroom, but the salesperson was busy assisting another customer, which is perfectly fine. I decided to call them later to get a quote for a full remodel. They came out for an estimate and took some measurements, but I never received a quote or a follow-up call – I haven’t heard from them since.” report abuse
