The transformation is incredible – what was a dated, unattractive concrete slab is now a stunning stacked stone structure that’s really enhanced our curb appeal and, we’re sure, increased the value of our home. Miguel and his team were incredibly meticulous in their work, and they were also very reasonable in price. Best of all, they left the entire site spotless, even better than they found it!   “We hired Miguel and his team to tackle some drainage problems in our front yard, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Their initial plan – creating a drainage bowl and swale with pipes leading to the end of our driveway – was ambitious, but they handled several necessary changes with a really calm and professional approach, which we really appreciated. Because of that, we decided to extend the project to include a walkway alongside our house to address another drainage concern. Throughout the entire process, Miguel and his team were fantastic. They were always incredibly friendly and considerate, taking steps to minimize noise and always leaving the job sites spotless at the end of each day.   Alves Construction did a fantastic job repairing my walkway. I contacted them to get a quote for fixing the damaged brickwork, and they responded quickly with a really competitive bid.   Honestly, this was a really frustrating experience. We put down a $500 deposit, but there was no communication for eight weeks – we were completely left in the dark. When Miguel and his team finally started the project, the quality of their work was just unacceptable; I had to take a day off work to ensure they were meeting the required standards. They even promised to protect the concrete with a tarp given the rain forecast, but they never did. It was incredibly stressful having to rush out and borrow tarps myself to protect the work. Overall, it felt like they didn’t value our time or commitment, and I strongly recommend they prioritize clear communication and consistently deliver on their promises. report abuse
