  Blaine Window and Door did a great job replacing our old casement window. The glass had broken, and they quickly sent an estimator out to get us a quote – we were happy with it and moved forward. They ordered and installed the new window in about three weeks, which was reasonable considering it was a custom order.   I’m incredibly disappointed with this experience. We received an initial quote three months ago and a follow-up appointment soon after, but the work itself was delayed significantly. They arrived a month later and completely couldn’t complete the job, stating they had no understanding of the project and needed to consult the person who originally created the quote. To add to the frustration, we've been met with evasive answers and countless unanswered phone calls since, making it impossible to resolve the situation. Because this work was paid for as part of our home closing, we’re left with no solution and strongly advise against using this company. report abuse

  “I was really frustrated with the whole process. I wasn’t informed that an estimator would be coming to assess my issue initially, and after he visited, I was told I’d receive an estimate within a week.   Blaine Window & Door really impressed me – they were fantastic! If you’re looking to repair or replace a window, or even just need new window screens (they have some great pet-friendly and solar-blocking options), this is the place to go.   Honestly, I’m really worried about this company. I’ve been trying to get in touch with them for days – just leaving messages and not hearing back. A service person visited two weeks ago and promised to send me pricing and door options, but I still haven’t received anything. It feels like they’re just collecting deposits and then disappearing. I’m going to go down to their shop to see if I can get some answers and figure out what’s going on. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience. I dropped off a sash three months ago and I’m still waiting for it to be repaired – they initially estimated it would take three weeks to start the work. Getting any communication has been a huge struggle; they rarely answer the phone, and I felt like I was incredibly lucky to even connect with someone.   “I hired someone to diagnose a problem with my equipment, and it cost me $65. He said he’d email me a quote, but I haven’t heard anything in over three weeks.
