“I really appreciated how thoroughly they looked at my issue and clearly explained their recommended solution. They provided a written estimate for the work, and I was impressed that the crew was able to complete it all within a week – and, importantly, the estimate was completely free with no obligation.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the work JDE Foundations did on my crawl space. They expertly installed 42 feet of 6x6 steel i-beams to repair a seriously failing carrier beam – it was a really tight job, but they did an absolutely outstanding job, top to bottom. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. Honestly, they were significantly cheaper than any of the larger construction companies I got quotes from, saving me thousands of dollars. As a carpenter with 46 years of experience in Northwest Arkansas, I wholeheartedly recommend JDE Foundations – they’re the real deal.”

Overall, JDE Foundations initially did a great job getting us started on this project, arriving on time and handling the initial work efficiently. However, things quickly went wrong when the remodel company we hired subsequently had to replace the entire floor decking and all the floor joints due to significant rot. While Zack acknowledged they hadn’t replaced the joists, it became clear they used the rotted ones to level the floor, which meant we’d still have to replace the decking. We’d discussed this potential issue upfront, and I’m frustrated that the scope of the work wasn’t fully communicated. Because of this miscommunication and the need to redo almost everything, we ended up replacing the joists and decking ourselves, costing us extra money. I believe a 50% refund – $3275 – is warranted to account for the unforeseen and ultimately duplicated work. Despite the issues, I appreciate Zack and his crew’s initial responsiveness and willingness to answer my questions.

“I was really impressed with JDE. They installed a French drain for me that runs about 80 feet along the side of my house, and they did it entirely by hand – digging through a lot of rocks, as you know how tough it is to dig in Northwest Arkansas. Despite the challenging conditions, they finished the job in a single day, which was incredibly impressive.”

JDE is a really reliable and dedicated employee. He consistently gets his projects done efficiently and professionally, and his team is always courteous and respectful – it’s great to work with him.

“I was really impressed with JDE’s work on my basement. They completely resolved the standing water issue, installing a sump pump and properly channeling the water along the walls and out through the foundation. They stuck to their timeline perfectly, and the quality of their work was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend JDE – they’re the team to call for any basement waterproofing needs!”

Zach was fantastic – he really went above and beyond. He arrived promptly, explained everything clearly about the pricing and timeline, and then quickly got his team on site to get the job done. It was a completely seamless experience, and I’d definitely recommend him.

“I hired JDe to completely overhaul my home’s foundation, a 134-year-old structure with 12-foot foundations and dual column piers. The work was supposed to involve extending and widening my home, replacing a significant section of the mud sill and damaged joists. However, the quality of the work was shockingly poor. The ‘piers’ they used were clearly homemade – just rusted bolt jacks welded together haphazardly. The base plates were warped from overheating, and the bolts were constantly falling out. The footers themselves were a disaster: shallow, filled with roots, and oddly shaped. The rebar was thrown in randomly, leaving gaps and creating unstable pockets. In fact, some footers were completely missing rebar. Zach, the worker, couldn’t even manage to get to one part of the work area, so he simply put two beams under one room and left the other 10 feet unsupported. As a result, the walls around the rooms cracked and my countertop separated from the wall. The ‘woodworking’ was incredibly basic – pieces of the rim joist were just cut to fit without nails, and the sistered joists were short boards nailed at strange angles with no support from the sill. From the start, there was no attention to detail; everything was crooked, uneven, and unstable. After nine days and the full payment, Zach admitted he'd been planning to discount the job and then became arrogant and threatening. He became completely unreachable after the contract was signed. Ultimately, his work caused significant damage to my home, and I had to have everything removed and replaced. It’s clear Zach didn’t care about the structural integrity of my house or the safety of my family. David was a good salesman, but once the contract was done, he vanished completely. This whole experience was incredibly stressful and frustrating, and I’m incredibly relieved no one was hurt.”

Overall, I was really impressed with the team’s work. They were incredibly knowledgeable and clearly hard-working, but what really stood out was how meticulous they were – they left the site spotless after themselves, which is a huge plus.

“I wholeheartedly recommend Zach and his team – a colleague in my brokerage steered me their way, and they completely lived up to the praise. As a real estate agent, I rely heavily on dependable professionals who truly care about their clients. They went above and beyond, driving over an hour to quickly resolve an issue with a property we were selling. Their communication was fantastic; they kept us updated every step of the way and were incredibly responsive and friendly. Honestly, their reliability and exceptional customer service are outstanding. If you need a skilled foundation specialist, Zach is the one to call – I’ll definitely be working with them again.”
