“I’m so sorry to hear about the customer’s experience – it sounds like a simple matter of ensuring windows are properly locked. We really pride ourselves on the quality of Harvey windows and our team’s responsiveness, and I’m disappointed this happened. I’ve been selling and installing Harvey windows for over 25 years and I genuinely believe they’re fantastic, so I’m always happy to help customers get the best possible fit and security.”

I’m incredibly disappointed with the windows I received for my new home. The windows themselves don’t lock properly – the double-hung windows won’t close because the top and bottom sections constantly hit each other. I’ve spoken to several builders and carpenters, and it’s clear this is a recurring problem with Harvey windows, especially when they’re used for rental properties. They seem to be prioritizing lower-cost options rather than quality. Now, they’re refusing to take them back. Their customer service is painfully slow; I’ve been waiting weeks to get anything resolved. Seriously, avoid Harvey windows – it’s worth paying a bit more to avoid this frustrating experience!

I had a really disappointing experience with Harvey windows. I purchased a set of Energy-Star rated Harvey MaxVue replacement windows in 2014, and within just a few months, they were riddled with frost and condensation on the inside – a clear sign of a serious insulation problem, especially during the winter. To make matters worse, when I contacted Harvey to report the issue, the representative was incredibly unhelpful and frankly, rude. They refused to even inspect the windows. They also didn't honor the manufacturer's lifetime warranty, despite the windows being only a few months old. It’s clear to me that Harvey makes cheap, poorly made products and they don't stand behind their work. Based on my experience and what I’ve read from other customers, I strongly advise against buying anything from Harvey, particularly replacement windows – it’s simply not worth the hassle.

“I can’t recommend this supply house. My experience has been incredibly frustrating – for the past two years, I’ve struggled to get a simple issue resolved by the Lansing customer service team. Honestly, it’s been the worst customer service I’ve ever received, and I wouldn’t waste your time here.”
-
“I’m really frustrated with the service I’ve received. I ordered two replacement sashes back in March of 2019, and despite multiple promises, they still haven’t been ready for pickup. It seems like I’m being told ‘next week’ every single week.”
-
Overall, it’s been a smooth experience so far – it feels like continuing a familiar project with the same reliable team.
-
The team was incredibly helpful and friendly, and I was really pleased with the quality of the products themselves.
-
This was a really convenient spot to drop off – they had a massive lot with tons of space, the staff were super friendly, and the unloading process was quick and efficient.
-
This store really impressed me – the staff were fantastic and they had a really impressive range of products for the home.
-
Dean was fantastic – a really positive experience and his prices were fair.
